Located on 12 acres just north of the Village of Chittenango in New York State, The Wild Animal Park is a zoo that provides a unique opportunity for visitors to learn about a variety of animals. With a wide range of domestic and exotics animals from all over the world, it's a great place for adventure, learning, and hours of family fun!

This past weekend we had the pleasure of hosting the Syracuse women’s basketball team at our Winter Wonderland of Lights! We are so glad they got to make the trip out and enjoy the lights in between classes and games. We wish them good luck in the rest of their season! 🏀

Reminder encounters are offered 7 days a week and are a great gift for all ages! During our winter season we offer giraffe, sloth, rhino, otter, penguin and capybara! 🦒 🦏

As we quickly approach opening night, we want to share with you this year’s calendar for our highly anticipated Winter Wonderland of Lights! ❄️ Dates highlighted in GREEN 🎄 means we are open including Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.

Additional details:
🎅🏽Regular park admission applies
🎫 Normal season passes are not valid, however we are offering a special season pass for just the lights! These can be purchased right on our Shopify
🔥 This is in our walkthrough park, so dress warmly as most of our park is outside. We will have a fire going all night to warm yourselves!
🥫 Bring in canned goods to enter for the chance to win an encounter. One good equals one ticket.

One more sleep until the festive fun begins! Our winter wonderland of lights events begin THIS Friday at 5pm. This is hosted in our walkthrough park and regular admissions apply. Bring the whole fam and make sure to tell Santa what you want this year for Christmas! 🎅🏽

🎄Where is this located?
Our light displays are in our walkthrough park! Our drive through is closed for the season. Animals that can handle the cold will be out for visitors to see.
❄️ Admission prices?
Regular admission prices apply and can be found right on our website based on age groups. Regular season passes do not cover these event but we are offering a special season pass for just the lights! These can be purchased right on our website under the Shopify link.
🎁 Anything special I should plan for?
Please bring in canned goods to enter a raffle to win an encounter! Each item equals one ticket and you can enter as much you as you like. Donated goods are given to local food kitchens to support the community. As the weather gets colder please keep in mind much of the park is outdoors so dress warmly 🔥
