Our current four litters are now a little over a week old! The chocolate harlequin in the first photo is being fostered. Lots of colors here!

Out of five babies, this is Quests only survivor. He’s been fostered by Trinket. She has not been doing a good job keeping him clean so I had to give him a butt bath yesterday. Looks like he’s a little chocolate harlequin, or maybe lilac! (He might be a she, I’m just using that pronoun randomly)

Whiskey River had seven babies born Tuesday! We lost one the first night but the other six are doing well. It looks like we have five torts and an orange 😂 but time will tell!

I’m posting this now to put some feelers out because I know finding the right home will take some time.

Whiskey will be looking for a new home in six weeks when her babies are weaned. She is cage aggressive, and since my kids help a lot with our animal chores, I am hoping to find another barn for her to call home. I do not believe she is suitable to be a pet, but she is a fantastic brood doe. She is from Kelli’s Kritters and has a great pedigree. She will not be cheap.

I have five does due tomorrow! Including Quest. Assuming everyone kindles successfully (they are all nesting already) that’s going to be a lot of butte to check every day (iykyk) 🤣

I currently have eight does (one is an English angora) and five bucks (one is an English angora). This ratio is not good but how do you say no to bucks? How do you decide which colors are best to hang on to (assuming type is equal)? I need them all for different reasons!

The struggle is real.

How is it possible these babies will be three weeks old on Thursday?? Winter babies behave so differently. These guys still haven’t left the nest box. They are staying warm and safe in their straw.

Which one is your favorite? I am partial to the 1st and 3rd!

Trinket when sitting in her cage vs Trinket when I try to pose her 🤣 there’s no denying she’s brood quality but she looks soooo much better in her cage.

Trinket is the sweetest bunny ever.

Pulled all our buns today and did “inventory”. Really helped me realize what’s lacking in my barn. I’m considering letting these two proven guys hop. They are 1️⃣3️⃣0️⃣ or 9️⃣0️⃣ if you also get one of the remaining does from me! (Third and fourth picture)

The bucks are VC orange and VC chinchilla. The does are VC chinchilla.

Bunny checks this morning! Everyone is looking good. Then we learned that English angoras and leaves don’t mix 😆 so far, grooming the angoras hasn’t been as bad as I expected. I brush them out every evening and that just takes a few minutes. Hopefully this weekend I will find some time to trim up our buck.

Last three babies! All girls! These will likely be the last babies to go to homes in 2025 🥲

I’m not exactly sure what’s going on, but I’ve lost three of Arwens five babies. They are 3 weeks old now. I was in the process of switching feed, so that’s all I can think of. Their digestive systems are so sensitive. I started switching before they were eating feed, so I thought it was safe, but maybe not. The BEW and the VM chocolate are still doing well. I hope they pull through!

Whenever I try to pose Riot, she looks awful. But whenever she’s relaxed, she looks so great! Her mom was the same way. She’s so pretty and sweet.
