Merri died in my arms yesterday.
There will never be another like you my sweet angel. We spent such an incredible last week together huh honey!? We saw the sun rise and set together every morning and night. You’re the first I saw every morning and the last I saw every night. You mean more to me than the world could ever know. You filled me with so much love everyday. Your personality and feistiness was incredible and a sight to behold. OHHHHH MERRRYYYYYY YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL!!! I see your face when I close my eyes. And when I open them I see your face on my phone screen and everywhere I look. And when I walk around I feel you in my heart. I’m crying as I write this and I’ve cried non stop since we found out you were dying. I tried to hide my sadness babygirl but watching you fade away slowly while you fought so hard to stay changed me. I yelled at the Gods for hours yesterday for taking you from me. You had so much more life to live… but your heart couldn’t take it anymore.
BUT….Yesterday, you rallied!!! You came back one more time…asked for one last sunrise…one last car ride…one last outing with your friends…and one last hug from your dad. I love you forever baby Merry! You died in my arms and I felt your last breath on my face…I will never forget you! And I will live to honor you and to save and help as many more Dogs as I can!
OHHHHHH MERRRYYYY!!!! My beautiful beautiful soul! OHHHH HOW SHE LOVED BEING CALLED BEAUTIFUL! 🤩 MY STAR ⭐️ MY LOVE 😍 MY MERRY! Rest in peace! 🪦 I’ll see you down the road ❤️

Mercedes was adopted from the OKC shelter but was returned due to behavioral issues stemming from a lack of socialization, training, and structure. However, with time, patience, and care, Mercedes has blossomed into a loving, happy-go-lucky girl who adores everyone she meets. Now, she’s ready to find her forever home!

What Mercedes Needs to Thrive:
✅ A loving and committed family
✅ A kennel for structure and comfort (non-negotiable)
✅ Consistent daily exercise, structure and routine
✅ Slow and proper introductions to other Dogs

Mercedes currently lives with a pack of Dogs of different sizes, personalities and energy levels— and she loves them all!

‼️ Once adopted, each dog will spend a free two-week training period with Kris before going to their new home. This ensures both the dog and their new family are set up for long-term success. After that training period Kris will personally help you transition the Dog into your home 😊💪🏻❤️ ‼️

Hey Fam “Winter is Coming” and the activities out here never stop which means I don’t have time for social media any longer. Therefore, I am officially passing over the reins to Michelle Ryan who will be in charge of all administrative duties so I can fully focus on the creatures I’ve dedicated my life to…DOGS ❤️

We’re going on STAYCATION Fam!!! From October 14-28th!!!

It’s been a long time since we take a break… time for ourselves and the Dogs. Of course, this is more of a break from phones(mine will be far away from me), social media and leaving the house. We will still have tons of work 😂 I will be using the time to get a lot of little repairs and “chores” done, start our garden, prepare our winter trails, set up the Ranch for winter and most importantly…enjoy the Dogs and to relax in nature so we can reset because there is very much to accomplish in the future.

So babies…if you need me I will be available until the 13th of October. Or after the 28th… plan accordingly. I love you fam!!!
