At Ley Performance Horses, you will get the attention to detail to help take you and your horse to the next level. We keep a very small program to ensure that each horse and rider gets the one on one time that they deserve. Specializing in the western all around events, with an emphasis in bringing along young horses for the western riding and trail. Located in Choteau, MT, just under an hour from Great Falls International Airport & in the scenic foothills of the Rocky Mountain Front. Our barn & indoor arena are heated for year round riding no matter the weather.

Congratulations Barb Bouma & Roger Thatt on being UNANIMOUS Circuit Champion in the L2 Select Horsemanship at the Arizona Sun Circuit!! Barb was extremely consistent, placing first under 8 judges across three separate patterns. Way to go Barb & Perfect Roger!!

Romeo is a barn favorite with his goofy & easy going personality. He is going to be a very fancy horsemanship and showmanship horse for a competitive youth or amateur. Romeo has what it takes to be at the top in the western riding pen. Started on the trail, lots of cadence and step over the poles. We would love to keep him, but his owner needs to focus on school. Duties include: feeding, cleaning stalls, grooming/lunging, turn out/bring in, other general maintenance tasks. Horse experience is preferred, but not required. If you are willing to learn, I am willing to teach you how to give top quality care to all of our awesome horses! Must be reliable, timely, & detail oriented. Pay is dependent upon experience. We are home from a fun and successful show in OKC for the Redbud Spectacular!

😎 I Ain’t Worried & Haley Jose
• Top 5 & Top 10 placings in the L2 Amateur Horsemanship- This was Haley’s amateur debut, she did a great job navigating her 4yo through some difficult patterns! So proud of these two!!
• Top 10 placings in the L1 Western Riding w/ Kyra - Big improvements from the last show, this is going to be a great class for Romeo!

👑 Xxtreme & Kyra Ley
• Multiple class wins & top 5 placings in the Junior Trail & Western Riding - Qualified for the AQHA World show in both events!

🫡 Roger Thatt & Barb Bouma
• Multiple class wins & top 5 placings in the L2 Select Trail, Horsemanship, & Showmanship! They were had some strong patterns and ended up reserve circuit champions in the Trail & Horsemanship!
• 1,2,2 & 2nd overall the second day of the L3 Senior Trail w/ Kyra out of 53 horses!

Perfect Roger had a great day in the L3 Senior Trail yesterday at the Redbud Spectacular! Scoring a personal best of 242 & placing 1st, 2nd, 2nd out of 51 horses!!
