Although we didn’t meet our reserve on Amadeus this weekend… I am, as always, beyond grateful and amazed by the work the Billings Livestock team puts into their sales every month.
We are so thankful for the incredible amounts of publicity on our horse through their advertising team! If you put the work into your horse, they’ll match it every time! 😎

We have a great line up of prospects and we can’t wait be back at BLS very soon for another great sale!

When Layne had Rafiki going top notch and we decided to sell him, there was a guy in the middle of a big group say "You'd never catch me on a horse like that, how can you ride something that looks like that?" And as everyone in the group laughed Layne said
"You might not like the looks of him, but you're all still talking about him. And that's all that matters." and with a wink he walked away leaving everyone half speechless by his response.

We have so much faith in our program and our horses- if we're advertising them to the point of annoyance its because they're the best of the best and I'm going to do my best to make sure everyone remembers them. 🤍

We made a very last minute trip to Great Falls this morning to look at this guy. He was offered to us by a friend that didn’t have the time for him. He’s got Mr Jess Perry, Streakin La Jolla, First Down Dash and Chicks Beduino all on his papers. We’re going to get him halter broke, castrated and branded and then let him get used to things around here while he lives on a free choice bale and we’ll get him started late summer or early fall! 😎

Yesterday the roping cattle broke out of the cutting pen while Layne and Heath were out riding. They escaped through the bare bone frame of the new roping arena and alley we're in the process of putting in.
Amadeus and Rico made quick work of bringing them back into the new alley and down to the corrals.

ONE WEEK from today Amadeus sells at Billings Livestock. He's hip 248 and will sell mid-afternoon on Saturday the 22nd!

Rico is also for sale and will be ready to head out with his new partner in a matter of weeks! 😎
