The Rogers County Disaster Recovery Center, operated by FEMA, is now available to assist residents affected by the recent storm. Individuals can seek support for applying for federal assistance and disaster loans, receive updates on their applications, and access information about other available resources.

The center, located at the Rogers County Health Department, will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

Residents visiting the center should bring the following documentation:
-- A photo ID
-- Proof of residency (such as a utility bill or lease agreement)
-- Insurance Information
-- Documentation of damage or losses incurred in the tornado (photos/receipts)
-- Social Security Number
-- Contact Information
-- Any other relevant documents related to the disaster and recovery process

Car enthusiasts from across the country will gather in Claremore this week for the 50th Mid America Ford Shelby Nationals. From June 19 to 23, Ford, Mustang and Shelby owners will gather for the yearly event to show off their performance cars and trucks at the Claremore Expo Center, paying homage to the illustrious heritage of these performance vehicles.

The event kicks off Thursday, June 20, with a free public Street Party featuring food trucks, live music, a kids zone, and a special participant reunion cruise at the Claremore Expo Center from 6 – 10 p.m. Club members will enjoy private racing events throughout the week at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit and Tulsa Raceway Park, and festivities will wrap on Sunday, June 23, with the Cars and Coffee Show at the Claremore Expo from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., bringing together all car enthusiasts to showcase any make or model of vehicle.

We have had turnover in our Pryor location and we are in immediate need of workers and or volunteers at Second Impressions Resale I & II located at 409 N. Mill in Pryor, OK.

The work entails bringing in donations, stocking shelves, customer service and sales. All proceeds are used to maintain our domestic violence shelter that services Rogers and Mayes counties.

We have an opening for a 24 hour weekly position. If you are looking for a volunteer opportunity we hope you will check us out. Come join good people serving a good cause!!
