Christiansburg Parks & Recreation The Christiansburg Parks and Recreation Department exists to promote and implement leisure programs and services that enhance the quality of life for all ages.

In observation of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Town Hall will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20.

The Aquatic Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with administrative offices closed.

The Recreation Center will be closed Jan. 17-20 for the Annual Rockstar Gymnastics event.

Solid waste normally collected on Monday, Jan. 20, will be collected on Tuesday, Jan. 21, with Tuesdayโ€™s regular collection.

๐๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ž ๐ง๐จ๐ญ๐ž: The Recreation Center courts and track will be ๐œ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ๐ž๐ on Saturday, January 4 as we will be hosting an AAU Basketball Tournament. The racquetball courts, weight room and cardio room will remain ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ง.

Both the courts and track will re-open on Sunday, January 5 at 1:00 p.m.

The Aquatic Center will be open Tuesday, Dec. 31 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Recreation Center will also be open Tuesday, Dec. 31 from 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Solid waste and recycling normally scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 1, will be collected Thursday, Jan. 2 along with Thursdayโ€™s regular collection.

๐‚๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ž: The Christiansburg Recreation Center will be closed from December 24-25 for the Christmas holiday. We will re-open normal hours on Thursday, December 26.

Please note that the turf fields at Christiansburg Huckleberry Park, as well as the bathrooms at all parks, will also be closed on December 24-25.

Congratulations to the residents of 430 Windsor Drive NW on winning the ๐‹๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐ฎ๐ฉ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐‡๐จ๐ฆ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐‡๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐š๐ฒ๐ฌ contest for the second year in a row!
