Heart Of A Ryan Farms We run a small farm focused on sustainability and supporting 4H's mission on positive youth development.

We raise Poultry and Ducks for show and eggs, Scottish Highland Cattle for beef, and LaMancha goats for show and goat milk soap.

Good human 4H parents, don't worry, I will use my platform 😀 ... : a parent who sits at a 4H Junior Fair, in the barn with their child's project all day and night, judging and yelling at kids. We were surprised to see less kids in showmanship this year, but listening to the parents in the stands, I get why...the kids can teach you how to treat, support, and cheer each other on.

We got our second cut hay in this past week, approx 150 bales just jam packed with clover and alfalfa, and some orchard grass.

We have first cut hay available at $5 a bale.

Long week at the fair is over(for us). So proud of our girls Abigayle showed chickens, ducks and a goat. she didn't place in chickens but did her best, 5th in ducks and 3rd in her division in goats. Allie just did goats this year and got 2nd in her division and third overall for senior dairy does. We are over the moon proud of these two and for the first year instead of complaining about all the work, they talked about what they wanted to show next year.

Allie is showing Ruby who is one of our first does purchased if not our first and Abogayle will be showing triangel who is our first tri-colored and polled doe(goat altogether) that was born on our farm. gold luck girls I know you will do great.

Thanks to Kyle Bussey and Carlos Suarez II for helping me get my hay cut, baled, and put away. That being said I now have hay if any one needs it, mostly orchard and Timothy grass but does have some alfalfa in it as well. Message me if you need it, $5/ bale.

some more farmhouse renovations, not while they look great these pictures dont do justice to the work that was done. we got to a point were I didnt feel comfortable doing some work, refinishing old hardwood so we had a professional come in and do the work, I will be finishing the trim work shortly. We believe this to be the original flooring for the original house that was built In 1880's some of it just need some help but part of it had been under carpet that had been glue done to it, there were many unidentifiable stain and smells. I got before pics, when he was done sanding and repairing, then stain sealer and one cot of poly, the the finished product couldn't be happier.
