Little water update. After over a week of water issues at the barn, and two days of no water at the house, we are fully functional! The barn, and the 17 Nelson Waterers in the stalls and pastures, and now all either working perfectly or parts have been ordered. New frost free faucets have been replaced around the property and the bath stall is getting upgraded as we speak. The barn water is now on its own 634 foot well and over 1,000ft in new waterlines have been run! The bathroom and kitchen sinks in the barn are good to go, all of the previous leaks and busted water pipes have been fixed. As some of you know, the previous management let water run for several years on the property causing issues with the well and pumps and waterers. Pipes were burst throughout the property without being repaired and even the bathroom didn’t have water. All of that has now been fixed! In addition, dozens of rotten posts have been taken out with new posts going in this week. Over 200 boards are being replaced and the entire fence is being brought up to new standards and painted black! We will keep you updated with pics as we complete these projects. If you are looking for a place for your equine friend, we have stall and field board available! Call Patrizia or dm with any questions or to set up a tour! (540) 267-1075

As some may know we had a pump failure recently. We decided to take this opportunity to update our water supply and make some additions. Earlier we replaced all the old Frost proof hydrant's and repaired all the automatic Waterers in the pastures and in the stalls. We are now connecting to a new well, adding 2 Frost proof hydrant's to make things easier. This should be done by the weekend. Of course all horse's have access to water during this time.
In addition we will finally set up the jump field, well as soon as the rain that is forecast, is done.
Other improvements will also be happening soon. I will be posting pictures as we do this. We are so excited about all the improvements.

Finally I have some time for an update.
Several people have asked me to tell them about my background with horse's.
I started my riding education at 8, prior to that I spend a year mucking stalls. Karl Hartmann owned the facility and bred Warmbloods. He was retired from the German Cavalry. For the first 18+ month I was on the Lungeline daily to develop a proper seat. Than I received daily instructions in traditional Dressage as well as Jumping. I had the wonderful opportunity to also receive instructions from such Legends as Dr. Klimke, Herr Rehbein, Herr Neindorff and I spend 2 years with Chief Rider Ignaz Lausche of The Spanish Riding School in Vienna, Austria.
After coming to the US, I took a break from horses, but suffered from withdrawal symptoms and returned to do what I truly enjoy, Dressage. I particularly enjoy working with students on their own horse's, helping them to develop a true relationship with the horse. I love sharing my passion of riding, as well as providing excellent care for the horse's.
I did take a break from the demanding task of running my own facility when I had cancer and other health issues. I continued to care for my own horse's as well as the horse of a wonderful friend.
I started to accept a small number of students, and now am moving forward in the equine industry with new goals.
I am managing Canterbury Equestrian to establish a quality boarding facility for the NRV, stall and field board will be available.I will start offering instructions in Dressage several day's a week starting in March'24.
If you would like any information concerning our services please contact us through messenger or text me at (540)267-1075.

‼️HAY BONNETS FOR SALE‼️
The Hay Bonnet is a one piece plastic unit that measures 96" x 96" x 69" high. The Hay Bonnet is easy to move around with it's light weight of 160 pounds. Low to the ground make the Hay Bonnet not easy for the wind to blow around. The Hay Bonnet has been used on every pasture on our farm, and has been tested by other horse lovers across the United States. The Hay Bonnet is a unique design that protects your bale of hay or square bales of hay, from all weather elements. The Hay Bonnet can be used with or without a pallet under the bale of hay. With the integrated slow feed net, it keeps horses occupied and prevents them from pulling entire strands and scattering hay all over the ground. The Hay Bonnet is proven to pay for itself during the first year of usage. The hay stays a better quality for a longer period of time because it is covered and prevents them from pulling and trampling it. This hay bale cover has 8 large openings for easy access for all sizes of horses, without damaging their manes. This also prevents them from bullying and not preventing the low horse from being able to eat.
