Hey everybody! Here is another opportunity to add an amazing pooch to your family! This is Waylon, he is estimated to be around 7 years old and has been groomed by me routinely since I opened! He's stayed with me in my home twice while his parents were away so I am very close with Waylon! (I call him WaywaymyBaybay😅) Unfortunately Waylon has to find a new home because of a recent medical event and his current home now has to become a pet free home. My heart goes out to Waylons parents because I KNOW they love him and that this is a double whammy on them. Waylon is a good good boy and enjoys living the easy life. He prefers to spend alot of snuggle time on the couch but he does enjoy a good walk sometimes! He loves people and kids are a plus plus! He likes to meet alot of people so a busy family life is not a problem for him! Just don't expect him to move off the couch for your guests to sit down...and good luck making him lol. He's heavy and he uses it to his advantage sometimes! 🤣 He's addorably stubborn and loves attention from people! He currently lives with 2 cats that he adores but Waylon has a high standard for his canine companions. When he meets another dog he does not like high energy or sharing a food bowl. Toys are sometimes a problem with other dogs too. He prefers if the other pooch enjoys doing what he enjoys or just isn't there at all lol. All in all Waylon is a wonderful family dog that enjoys hanging out with his people and I'm confident that whoever is lucky enough to pick him will fall in love with him! We will be handing out candy and pup treats at the shop on Halloween night at dark! Come stop by and show us your costumes! 🎃 👻 🐾 I really hope to get some trick or treaters! It's a dying tradition but I love it and i wanna see it come back! Hopefully the pooch in the video gets trick or treaters this time!

Good morning everyone! Meet Charlie, he is looking for his forever home! I'm currently fostering this gorgeous, 2 year old golden doodle! He is medium sized at 36 lbs. I have groomed him since he was a puppy and I can't come up with enough good things to say about this fella! He is so gentle and he is fully trained. Crate trained (but also does fine being left out) potty trained, leash trained and the whole bit. Charlie is very gentle and he loves humans! He's a social pooch and would like a social life! He is excellent with kids, other dogs and cats! Charlie will immediately make himself apart of the family so if you're interested in adding a pooch to your life please consider looking into Charlie! Hey guys, i just want to take a second to go over something. I have a policy that I have had for a while and it's about not returning to the shop until I have called for pick up. This is a common policy that exists in most pet groomers shops. It helps prevent distractions and noises during the grooming process. Distractions to a dog during a grooming can not only injure the pooch but it could cause me injury as well. There are reason for policies like this and its purpose is NOT to dig into anyones pockets, its for safety. Thank you to everyone for supporting my business and I cannot tell you how much I appriciate it!

EDIT: I was very soft when choosing how to word the signs since its the first thing people see when they walk into my shop. The reality is that grooming tools are dangerous. Pair that with using them on an animal who doesn't understand the full concept of the situation they are in and then pair that with the idea of the pet either doesnt know you, the groomer, at all or only sees you every several weeks. The way a pet reacts when thier owner returns, leaves and then they can't leave with them yet makes it difficult, if not impossible, to complete what may not be finished of the groom yet. All in all, it's my responsibility to create and maintain a safe and calming environment for the dogs I groom. Anything less puts them at risk for injury from thier own natural impulses and reactions. I appriciate all of the clients I have and I'm so blessed! Thats why I want to do all that I can to maximize the experience every pet has during thier grooms by maintaining a calm environment.

I think I need to post again 😬 It's very difficult to manage time while bringing large and extra large dogs on and off the table several times to address these kinds of situations. No offense to anyone, have a great day! 😃

First day back in the shop after vacation was so good! 😃 Vacation is great but getting back to regular life is also nice!

Charlie sat so good for his picture and Laneys owners sent me one from home because I forgot to take one 😆

My dog Avis is enjoying me having some time off because she gets to go play at the park!

This is Sassy and she was the first Petty Paws customer ever! Sassy passed away February 20th and she is very missed by her Mommy and myself. She had some of the cutest quirks! Margene, my heart goes out to you and I know you loved Sassy! I appriciate all that you do for me and I'm so glad that you still bring me treats to the shop ❤ I love you like me grandma!
