Jagd pup nailing it

Raider learning that he has to stay put whether at my house, or someone else’s house. Pups need to learn obedience at multiple locations to be proficient . Day 7 obedience.

Not working on steadiness at this point with this pup . But teaching him that dropping the bumper 10 yds out ends the session. Pup has not started force fetch, but learning that in order to continue the game, he must deliver to hand and be calm.

This pup came to us with a myriad of issues: hyper, excitable , jumping , licking profusely, spitting out the bumper at 10 yards, dragging the owner on leash, short attention span. This is day 7 with Raider.

Moments like this make me happy, when we turn a dog around. Go Quinn!!!

Quinn was sent to us and deemed gunshy and perhaps somewhat bird shy. And arduous task to make the recovery, but I’m proud of the results thus far .
