Name: Hudson
Breed: Golden Retriever
Age: 1 year, 2 months old

Hudson joined our Posh family in February, and he has been a regular since then! Whether he is at our resort for grooming, daycare, or overnight boarding, Hudson brings lots of joy and energy! This sweet boy has never met a stranger, and he has a gift of making everyone feel loved - both human & dog!

Though he has made many friendships during his time at the resort, Hudson is especially fond of Rain, Murphy, Cleo, and Mollie! We are certain that Hudson could make any dog feel welcome here, and he is always eager to make a new friend!

We are so thankful for Hudson & his sweet family, and we hope to have him be a part of our Posh family for many years to come! 🦮✨🫶🏻

We’re so excited to be hosting a car show & rescue fundraiser next month! We’ll be set up at the Greene County Fair Grounds for a fun day of shopping with local vendors, meeting rescue pups, eating at food trucks, checking out some cool car collections, & more!

All of our proceeds will go to our rescue efforts as well! Up to this point, your donations and help raising money for these sweet babies has helped us find home for 19 pets in only a few short months! Corrie has been a vital part of our resort from the beginning. She and her family were part of early construction & painting, and have been intertwined in every aspect of the business. Originally, Corrie and her teenage son Bryce took care of our evening walks & medications for the boarding pets at our facility. Within a short time, we realized how much Corrie brings to the table and we asked her to be a full-time employee!

Corrie is one of our Kennel Co-Managers and she performs many different tasks daily. She can be found bathing pets, assisting our groomers, giving medications, walking dogs, taking inventory of our supplies, performing minor repairs around the facility, or training new resort staff members. She also enjoys forming special bonds with each pet, getting to know them well, and spoiling them any chance she gets!

Outside of work, Corrie enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, and their children. She also has four dogs of her own: Roscoe, Diesel, Sarge, and Chloe! She loves being at the beach, camping, or relaxing with her friends.

We are so thankful for all Corrie does for our staff & our resort guests, and we cannot wait to see what else we can accomplish with her on our team! If you’ve had the privilege of meeting Corrie, give her some love in the comments below! 🩵🐾

JULY PET OF THE MONTH 🐾

Slash is one of those unique dogs who can bring a smile to anyone’s face! His mom & dad bring him to board with us often, and he has recently started coming to daycare as well! From his first visit here, Slash bonded with our Pearl and they’ve been WILD and inseparable ever since!

His dad tells us that as soon as his green collar & leash come out, Slash becomes very excited! He knows where he’s going, and he knows all his friends will be waiting for him!

This big boy has become a staff favorite, and he brings so much love and joy with every visit to our resort! Slash embodies all the things we love most about what we do - he cannot get into our building quickly enough, he loves to give hugs and kisses, he is ALWAYS happy to see us, and he is NEVER ready to leave our resort!

We are so thankful to have him as a part of our Posh family, and we are happy to name him our July Pet of the Month! 🩵

From the moment building plans began for our resort, Drew has been the mastermind! He painted every inch of our facility, created the layout and design of our resort, built each run by hand to ensure every pet in our care has the safest experience possible, and works daily to create new ways to better serve our staff and our guests! There would be no way this place could run as smoothly and as efficiently without Drew leading the way! 🤍🐾

Pawsitively Posh family, we need your HELP! We have so many amazing rescue dogs that we have invested so much time, care, and money into (thanks to your donations) that are ready for forever homes! These animals were saved from the euthanasia list, rehabbed at our facility, and are now ready to find amazing homes so we can make room for the next ones we save! We would love to take any pet accessories you no longer want or need off your hands! Our rescue residents are incredibly thankful for any “new” items they receive, and we even share our extras with other local rescues. Unfortunately, saving animals isn’t very profitable, and our priority must be resort expenses to keep the lights on for everyone. Therefore, any and all donations are not only appreciated but also necessary for us to continue saving more animals! We couldn’t help save these animals without all the incredibly selfless donations we receive, we’re so thankful! 🩵🐾🐶

June Pet of the Month: Cleo 🩵🐾

Breed: Great Dane
Color: Harlequin
Age: 1 1/2 (will be 2 in September)

Cleo began coming to our resort for Daycare & Socialization in April. At her first visit, she was nervous & unsure of our staff and the other daycare pups. After a short amount of time with us, she began to flourish!

She has has made several friends at daycare including Raife, Mallie, Harry, Hudson, and Murphy - and she has stolen all of our hearts too!

Cleo enjoys playing with toys, running around with our staff, and lounging in the sunshine when she’s outside! We are thrilled to have Cleo (and her Momma) as a part of our resort family, and we look forward to serving them for years to come! ✨🐕🫶🏻

- Currently receiving medical care for open wounds (from burrs imbedded in her skin)
- Very well behaved
- LOVES cats, but not fond of other dogs
- VERY fearful of men

We wanted to take a minute to highlight some of the amazing ladies that work with us here at the resort! Without their hard work and dedication, everyone else’s jobs here at the resort would not run as smoothly. Every kennel tech, groomer, receptionist, etc., truly helps make our resort go round, and we are so incredibly thankful for the commitment these ladies have made to helping us run the best facility in town. Why do they need these vaccines? We are often asked about vaccinations for pets & why we require them. At our resort, your pet’s health, safety, and well-being are our top priorities! We require all core vaccines for both cats and dogs to ensure that we are doing our part to keep every pet we care for as safe as possible.

For dogs, we require Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella.

For cats, we require Rabies & Feline Distemper.

With over 10 years of experience working in a veterinary clinic, along with pet sitting for friends and family, Robin brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Her extensive background in the veterinary field ensures that your pets will receive the highest level of care and attention.

Robin’s deep understanding of animal behavior, health, and well-being ensures that every pet’s needs are met with expertise and compassion. Having spent years in a vet clinic, she has witnessed firsthand the joy and love that pets bring to our lives. This experience has fueled her dedication to creating a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for all furry guests.

Our yard sale was a hit! We’re so thankful for every single person who shopped, donated, or helped in any way! 🩵

The money we raised is going directly to our current rescue animals’ procedures and vet care, so they can be adopted and begin this exciting new chapter of their lives! Since the yard sale, one of our rescues has found their forever home and that opened up a spot for us to save another dog! (Keep an eye out for a post on both of these pups!) We’re so thankful for a community that is just as passionate as we are when it comes to helping change the lives of these animals FOREVER! 🐾

BUT, the more we raise, the more animals we can save! So, if you would be interested in donating as well, or you couldn’t make it to the yard sale, we’ve linked our Venmo below!
