MHH was the newest and most modern Poultry Hatchery in the area, State Inspected Bi-Annually
PERMANENTLY CLOSED Mother Hen's Hatchery was the only NPIP Certified Poultry Facility open daily, 7 days a week, to the public in Greene County, TN. Located on "Fluffy Butt Farm" in rural Greene County, it was the area's newest and most modern Hatchery. Housed in a new custom building, Mother Hen's Hatche
ry used only new & state of the art incubators, hatchers, feeders, Coops & equipment for their baby chicks. Cleanliness & health were paramount priorities at Mother Hen's Hatchery which resulted in a superior product for their valued customers over many seasons. Mother Hen's Hatchery was the brainchild of Rob & Denise Rogers. Rob, Denise & son Ricky originally only intended to raise their own free range chicken flocks and harvest eggs but became enamored with the idea of fertilized eggs, hatching baby chicks and providing these services to Greene County residents and surrounding areas. The Rogers came from a business background in the Home Improvement & Trucking Industries. With the combination of business experience (The Rogers ran their family owned company for 25 years before retiring) and the hands on experience & knowledge they learned in recent years, Mother Hen's Hatchery quickly emerged as the premier poultry Hatchery in the local market. By only it's second season in business, Mother Hen's Hatchery had already been featured twice on the front page of local newspapers as well as being featured as the lead off story on WCYB News 5 Bristol & Fox News. For folks looking for an upscale transparent operation where they could see for themselves the conditions their baby chicks were hatched in, Mother Hens Hatchery was the only stop they needed to make. Feel free to peruse the numerous picture albums which include their personal Goats, Chickens, Koi, Labradors, Cattle Pictures, "Boo, Bo**er & Smokey" the Barncat Extraordinaire's and even "Charlie" the Amazing Sugar Glider! Mother Hens Hatchery participated in the National Poultry Improvement Program (NPIP #63-673). They tested their award winning flock multiple times annually for Pullorum-Typhoid, bi-annually for Avian Influenza (AI) and were registered with the TN Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. They were the only Public Hatchery in Greene County to meet this critical criteria. Thanks for stopping by Mother Hens Hatchery LLC and hopefully we made a difference!
