Potty training tip!
Hey guys! I hope to start doing more training tip videos! If you have any ideas on videos you’d like to see, comment below or send me pm! Today’s video tip is for potty training! 🐾
Taking a moment to rub our tiny violins together for Bimmer who believes having to walk back to the car in a controlled heel is torture 😆 nevermind the 35 minutes of fun running freedom he just had! There’s always one lol
It’s all about building trust between you and your dog 🫶🏼
If you want a nice loose leash when walking your dog, train them through success, not through error! By showing and guiding your dog through a behavior, you are creating more understanding and increasing the likelihood of them doing the behavior. Aka Errorless learning. No one wants to learn through error, not even our dogs!
Send me a message to set up a session and I’ll show you how to train your dog through success 🙌🏼
Mr Wendell is staying with me for a week for some very specific training. He is the first board and train I have accepted for a unique reason. His dad had to go away and he really didn’t want to lose momentum with his bird training. Something I very much so sympathize with because our season for this work is so short! So! We are going to be working on steadiness for the next week! Would be fantastic if the rain could ease up a bit 🫠 off to a good start tho buddy!
‼️Hiking class ‼️
Here’s Scuttles reminder to everyone to bring bug spray tomorrow night! This was tonight at frisbee league! The monster skeeters 🦟 were out full force!
Can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow evening!
Also, I couldn’t love this dog more! Not sure if he had more fun catching the frisbee or killing mosquitoes 🤣
Day Training
Valo had quite the first day at day training! It was amazing to see him come out of his shell throughout the day through training. He was a bit unsure this morning, trying to keep a bit of distance and by the end of the day he was coming up for pets ☺️ good boy buddy! Working through these things together is one of my favorite things to do!
Distance commands
I wanted to share this video of me messing around with Scuttle before classes tonight so those of you in class can see what we are working towards! This is just a small example!
Keep up the great work everyone and see you next week!
