Muy linda historia que compartieron mis hermanas.

Un hijo llevó a su padre a un restaurante para disfrutar de una deliciosa cena. Su padre ya era bastante anciano, y por lo tanto, un poco débil también. Mientras comía, un poco de los alimentos caía de cuando en cuando sobre su camisa y su pantalón. Los demás comensales observaban al anciano con sus rostros distorsionados por el disgusto, pero su hijo permanecía en total calma.

Una vez que ambos terminaron de comer, el hijo, sin mostrarse ni remotamente avergonzado, ayudó con absoluta tranquilidad a su padre y lo llevó al sanitario. Limpió las sobras de comida de su arrugado rostro, e intentó lavar las manchas de comida de su ropa; amorosamente peinó su cabello gris y finalmente le acomodó los anteojos.

Al salir del sanitario, un profundo silencio reinaba en el restaurante. Nadie podía entender cómo es que alguien podía hacer el ridículo de tal manera. El hijo se dispuso a pagar la cuenta, pero antes de partir, un hombre, también de avanzada edad, se levantó de entre los comensales, y le preguntó al hijo del anciano: “¿No te parece que has dejado algo aquí? “

El joven respondió: “No, no he dejado nada”. Entonces el extraño le dijo:”Sí has dejado algo! ¡Haz dejado aquí una lección para cada hijo, y una esperanza para cada padre!” El restaurante entero estaba tan silencioso, que se podía escuchar caer un alfiler.
