Rango has been trail ridden his entire life, has been started on a cart but this was never finished or fine tuned so it would need to be revisited. He is safe, easy to handle, willing to go wherever you point his nose. He will ride out alone or in a group. He will cross water, logs, anything you need him to. He has been on many overnight camping trips, in several parades and ridden on the beach. All without any issues. He has a beautiful 4 beat gait. He has been barefoot his entire life, when ridden on rough terrain or gravel roads I do boot him. He is an easy keeper and is the same horse if you ride him once a week, once a month, or once every 3 months. He is easy to catch and will be the first to greet you at the gate.

Jose's Cinnamon Senorita. 6 year old red roan mare. She was started at age 3 and ridden for 2 seasons but has had the last year off raising a c**t. She is a very sweet and easy to get along with mare. Not going to call her beginner safe only because she has had the last year off and will need a refresher, but during her previous 2 years of riding, she never did anything bad. No buck, no bite, no bolting. The kids rode her on trail rides. Approximately 14.2/14.3 hands tall. I will get a proper measurement asap.

Baby #1 is here! Nova and Rango have given is a gorgeous blue roan c**t! He made his appearance around 10pm last night. We have never had one born with this much roaning at birth, so we will be testing him to see if he is homozygous roan.

These two beautiful ladies are carrying Rango's last foals. Both are classic red roan, just different shades. Due dates are this month!
So my plan was to edit all these videos together and made a proper ad once I got home, but, since we are currently riding at Big South Fork (leaving 6/3) I thought I would just post the videos as is incase someone wants to come here and try her out on the trails.
16 year old mare, red roan. Way more "whoa than go" As kid safe, husband safe, guest rider safe, beginner safe, confidence builder as a horse can be. Nothing bothers her, no spooky behavior under saddle, no faults or vices that we have found. No maintenance needed. No known health issues. Currently barefoot and being ridden in easyboot gloves.
Rides out alone like a champ, or rides in groups, took her on a night trail ride here at BSF and she rocked it. Ride her in just a halter or we have also used the Rockin S Raised Snaffle as recommended by Ivy Starnes and she rode well in it. NOT a speed racking horse. Has a lovely slow racking gait as seen in videos below and is happy to take her time. We currently have her at Big South Fork riding for the week, come check her out on the trails! Will be back to Church Hill this weekend.

Here is a sneak peak of a mare that will be available soon. This is one of those once in a lifetime unicorn horses. A confidence builder, a baby sitter, a guest horse, beginner horse, spouse that rides twice a year horse, as kid safe as a horse can be, and the cherry on top is shes classic roan! We have owned her for a while now, not knowing what we had. She's been a pasture ornament for the past couple of years. We decided to send her for a 30 day refresher and got back an amazing animal. We don't have any real history on her prior to 2 years ago, but based on the way she rides we are guessing she spent many years being someone main ride.
Just dropped off Cocoa with Larry Sparks to breed to his bay roan stallion Roan Lights McCurdy. They will produce either a bay roan or a blue roan. Praying for a healthy foal in March 2023!
Well Rango is now a gelding! It took 2 doses of sedation to get him down, but the procedure went well after that. The 3 mares he covered this fall were confirmed in foal, so his last crop will hit the ground around October 2022. We can't wait to start taking our guy with us on camping trips to those places that didn't allow stallions, including the American Heart Association ride in Myrtle Beach. Look out, here we come! ☺🐎

A good stallion makes a great gelding right? Wonder what happens when you have an amazing stallion? Unicorn gelding? Lol, well we are about to find out. We have decided that we will be gelding Rango this winter so that he can start going to all the "No Stallions Allowed" rides that he has been missing out on. We cut back on our breeding program a few years ago and have really enjoyed getting some of our time back to do other things. We will still breed occasionally but will use outside studs when we want to scratch that foal itch. We are really looking forward to being able to take Rango with us no matter where we ride! So if you were thinking about breeding your mare to Rango, this fall is the time to do it.
