☀️🐾 Happy First Day of Summer! 🐾☀️ The sun’s out—and so are the bitey bugs! Protect your pets with veterinary-approved flea, tick & heartworm prevention.

We see cases of Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses often. Mosquitoes are especially relentless in our area as well, so heartworm prevention is important.

Keep summer safe & parasite-free for your furry friends! 🌿🐶🐱

☀️ WARM WEATHER = EXTRA PET CARE ☀️
Hot days are here, and that means it's time to be extra mindful of our furry friends! Thanks to the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) for this helpful reminder on how to keep pets safe when temperatures rise.
* Fresh water & shade at all times
* Never leave pets in the car
* Avoid hot pavement
*Save outdoor walks/play for early morning or later in the evening
*Watch for signs of heat stress like excessive panting, drooling, or restlessness
* Short-nosed or overweight pets are at higher risk

Always check in with your vet if you have any concerns and be sure to have Emergency vet information handy
