Looking for the purr-fect gift for a pet lover who receives veterinary care from us? Contribute to their pet’s health! It’s thoughtful, unique and is a helpful gift that extends beyond the holiday season🐾🎄

How it works:

-Stop by our clinic with the gift recipient's name, their pet’s name, and their phone number (So that we can access their account)
-Choose any dollar amount that you would like to contribute.
-You will receive a “gift certificate” representing your contribution.

The funds stay on the recipient’s account to use towards future check-ups, treatments or vet visits!

Bonus🌟 If you want to complete the gift, consider pairing it with one of our festive pet odor eliminator candles and a bag of pet treats 😊🎁🐶🐱

The holidays can be filled with sparkly decor and festive cheer. Remember that many of these can pose risks to our furry family members. Be mindful where you place items and keep toxic items out of your pets reach. Keep your pets happy and safe this season!

There are many holiday toxins and winter toxins to be aware of: foods, alcohol, holiday ornaments, tinsel, candles and other decorations can be dangerous.

Today, we celebrate International Veterinary Medicine Day, honoring the hardworking veterinary professionals who dedicate themselves to animal care around the clock and around the globe! 🎉

Here’s why we celebrate:

🏩Did you know that Animal health impacts human health? Many medical breakthroughs, like vaccines , some medications, organ transplants, and some other treatments stem from veterinary professionals and they have directly benefited human healthcare. Many diseases have animal origins as well, by monitoring and protecting animal health, vets help prevent the spread of disease.

🚑 Veterinary professionals are the first responders in animal emergencies, providing critical care to injured or sick animals, saving animals lives.

🌍 Veterinarians not only care for our household pets but they also protect endangered species, manage wildlife populations, and ensure the health of animals in zoos, farms, and in their natural habitats. This helps maintain biodiversity and ecosystem balance.

❤️ Veterinary Professionals deserve recognition. Despite their critical role in public health, the ecosystem, and the health of our beloved pets, veterinary professionals have a unique and often underappreciated impact on the world around us.

Say thank you to someone in VetMed today! 😊

After today, we're taking a thanksgiving break to spend time with family and rest but we’ll be back in the office on Monday 12/2 to care for all of your furry family members.

Whether BIG or small, every patient deserves the best. There are camera angle tricks here — This is Brianna, our Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), with Axe, our Great Dane patient!🐎🙂 We’re thankful for the opportunity to work with such amazing animals of all shapes and sizes every day.

Wishing you and your pets a safe and happy thanksgiving! 🦃🐾
