Today, we celebrate International Veterinary Medicine Day, honoring the hardworking veterinary professionals who dedicate themselves to animal care around the clock and around the globe! 🎉

Here’s why we celebrate:

🏩Did you know that Animal health impacts human health? Many medical breakthroughs, like vaccines , some medications, organ transplants, and some other treatments stem from veterinary professionals and they have directly benefited human healthcare. Many diseases have animal origins as well, by monitoring and protecting animal health, vets help prevent the spread of disease.

🚑 Veterinary professionals are the first responders in animal emergencies, providing critical care to injured or sick animals, saving animals lives.

🌍 Veterinarians not only care for our household pets but they also protect endangered species, manage wildlife populations, and ensure the health of animals in zoos, farms, and in their natural habitats. This helps maintain biodiversity and ecosystem balance.

After today, we're taking a thanksgiving break to spend time with family and rest but we’ll be back in the office on Monday 12/2 to care for all of your furry family members.
