HELP — our dogs have absolutely obliterated their toys. 😵‍💫🦴

We’re officially out of tough toys. The squeaky ones? Demolished. The chew bones? Gnawed to dust. The tennis balls? May they rest in pieces.

We need an immediate foster for Agnes formerly April. Our current foster is transferring and we do not want Agnes to have to go into boarding. This sweet girl has been through so much and deserves to snore out the rest of her life on a nice bed with her people.

You care and we are so grateful you have stood by our side for ten years to help save these precious souls with medical needs, homelessness, pain and to love some on their last days. Even when they leave us Savanna welcomes them at the end of the bridge to their final loving homes. Love never ends.

🚨 URGENT: 14 Dogs at Risk 🚨
This is never easy to share.

Fourteen dogs are facing a deadline of April 28th by 5 PM and urgently need adopters, fosters, or rescues to step up.These are good dogs who simply need a chance. They are out of time because more dogs are coming in than going out, and our shelter is over capacity.

We’ve been incredibly grateful to see our community step up time and time again. You’ve saved so many lives already. But we need your help again. These 14 dogs need someone—anyone—to give them a second chance.

🐾 Adopt – Give them a chance at life. There is no appointment needed! Swing by during adoption hours - Monday, Friday, and Sunday 12-5 PM; Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday 12-7 PM.

Meet Ms. April

USW made a promise to a homeless man just about 10 years ago… if his dog ever ended up in a shelter, could we take care of her until he could get her back? So our contact Information was put on her microchip and here we are, keeping her safe. However, her devoted owner has passed away and she was found by his side. She is in our care until someone who will love her as much as he did, is found.

If you think you’d like to offer her a place to live out the rest of her years, please comment below or reach out to the rescue personally. She’s very sweet and has had no problems adjusting to 4 other dogs. Seems potty trained/crate trained.

2025 marks TEN YEARS you have been helping us save these precious lives. There is NO WAY we could have helped these precious ones for this long if it weren't for you. Thank you
Here is a little video about how it all started.

One person can make a difference, you won't have to do it alone you just need to start and you will find others and together you will do great things. Savanna was just one person, she watches over us from above with her tribe of rainbow bridge pets. She was ONE person and her love for the animals is still saving lives one at a time.
