The birth of “The Grooming Coop”

Cooper, a Cairn Terrier who had a zest for life and loved every human he came in contact with, was rescued from a farm in Pennsylvania as a puppy. He loved to travel and see new things, which was apparent, while living in Washington, D.C. and moving to Texas, with his mum and dad. There was not a tree he didn’t like, either! Life was great, mom was working at a local veterinary clinic, the summer was a bit warm, be he was okay with that.

In a split second, everything changed: Cooper had to have surgery, and several complications from that first surgery caused a second surgery from which he could never recover. Heartbroken, mum and dad had to say goodbye too soon. At just over a year old, Cooper’s said goodbye to all those who loved him.

After this chapter was written, Ana decided that her true desire was to go back to grooming. She wanted Cooper’s spirit to live on forever…… thus "The Grooming Coop" was born!
