Our Owner's name: Mckenzie Wilson

Our Biggest Improvements we've made through training:
Ellie: I am able to give a heads up heel which helps me with both loose leash and off leash walking. I have been able to work on my impulse control when being around other dogs and to ignore high level distractions.

Dak: I was able to work on my impulse control around other dogs and to ignore high level distractions

Our favorite snack/treat is:
Ellie: Ice cream

Dak: Peanut butter filled hooves

Our favorite thing to do is:
Ellie: Go to work with my mom and be with the kids.

Dak: All types of tricks with my mom

A fun fact about me:
Ellie: I am from a bloodline of AKC registered show dogs.

Dak: I am both a certified therapy dog and a task trained service dog.

Great review from Brittany... "Me and Apollo had a great experience with Sit means sit. We did the three week once a week training program which is a little expensive but it’s worth it! But we get free training sessions for life! Catherine was so sweet and attentive and always willing to help. He’s doing so much better behavior wise and can’t wait to see what the future brings us! 💙

The biggest improvements we have made through training: Sitting & Staying when told to do so.

Our favorite snacks: Peanut butter treats...any kind as long as they're made of peanut butter.

Our favorite thing to do is: Chase Sophie, and take away all the toys she wants to play with.

A fun fact about us: We're great swimmers, but prefer to just float on the raft.

Great review from Jed... "Huge thank you to everyone at Sit Means Sit - Syracuse! Cam C. and Matt C. were the primary trainers for Louie (GSD) and they were both awesome. I felt good dropping him off on training days knowing he would be with these guys and the rest of the staff at the facility. They worked toward specific goals that I provided though it quickly becomes apparent that the training they do is beneficial in an overall sense.

The video updates were enjoyable to receive during the day and a great to use as a reference when doing exercises at home. They also spent and hour with us at the end of each day going over the techniques and answering questions. It is truly training for the dog as well as the human counterpart and the results have been wonderful.

We finished Louie's initial training a couple weeks back and will be participating in the continued services that Sit Means Sit has available for us. We are grateful that a place like that exists here in the Cuse.

Great review from Donna... "Our Ginger is a large (nearly 90 lbs) and rather unruly dog. My husband and I are older, and we were having trouble with simple things like getting her into the truck to go to the vets and walking on a leash. We decided to take her to Sit Means Sit for an evaluation to see if they could do anything with her. Dave, the owner, assured us they could help, so we signed up and a few weeks later Ginger had her first day of training.

We saw a difference after that first day. Ginger was walking calmly on the leash and jumped right up into the truck to go home. After three weeks she's now so much more manageable. She will stay put on command, walk calmly off leash and come when she is called.

Thanks to Cameron for his patience with her (and us). Ginger really loved working with him and we appreciated his extra efforts. I would highly recommend Sit Means Sit to anyone struggling with an unruly dog. Yes, it is pricey, but worth every penny. We are happy and so is Ginger!"

They have great energy and enthusiasm for your furry friends. I brought two in at once and they worked one on one with them and helped me address the two together. Great review from Cindy... "I would definitely recommend Sit Means Sit. She was always in a fight or flight mode around strangers or other animals, not a good life for her or us. We were lucky enough to be able to have Justin on her 2nd day of class. From a dog who shook and growled at everyone, she was around the other dogs with no issue and he had her walking through a store. The transformation was amazing. And not only what they did for her, but the work they did with us to be able to help her."
