"We truly can not say enough good things about Sit Means Sit. 🐾🐾 Our 5-year-old house hippo (but reactive little stinker!) showed progress from the very first day working with Jordan, whose calm and care is enviable. We had very positive interactions with all the trainers whose paths we crossed, including Justin (great tips!) and Amanda (fantastic first day dog mom vibes). We received the first video hours into Day 1, and our guy little crazy pants was in a room with other dogs, not losing his marbles!

Price: worth every penny for the parameters of the program. We know training isn't finished in three days of "school" and this feels like a community we can lean into.

E-collars: Yeah, I was nervous, too! Many of us have seen people misuse these collars. But the SMS trainers teach the correct way and on a per-dog basis; they don't want your dog to be "ruined" by it, either.

Jordan explained it as giving our dog a task on our walks, and we see already how that has benefited Kenji. He likes having his collar put on, and now he can meet more friends being calm than misbehaving in these streets 😊 And he's still our little stinker (literally and figuratively 😂)."

Great review from MAP... "Excellent dog training facility with a very professional staff. After two days of training the change in our 2 dogs is impressive. We are looking forward to their next training day to see how their training improvements continue. We highly recommend “Sit Means Sit” as the best dog training operation in the Syracuse region. We are Senior Citizens and the training of our young dogs was tailored to our needs and lifestyles. Truly an excellent operation with great people who work magic with the dogs!"

Great review from Leah... "My dog, Lucy, recently finished Sit Means Sit day train program and I could not be any happier with the experience and results! Lucy is a very excitable 7 month old puppy and the main trainers she worked with, Ely and Justin, did amazing in helping her to harness her energy into very positive behaviors while maintaining her loving personality. They always ensured the training focused on behaviors I was looking for her to learn and always made sure I felt confident in knowing how to reinforce them at home. At first, I was nervous about the e-collar but once educated on what it was (and what it is not) and seeing the positive results and reaction from my dog, I know it was a great decision for us.

Great review from Traci... "I took my very reactive German shepherd for training as she has broken a couple ribs by dragging me. Cam was my GSD trainer and did absolutely amazing!! I was able to walk Greta around with other dogs and she didn’t go after them. This has been such a great relief to know that I can now control her behavior all thanks to Cam and Sit Means Sit! I highly recommend them! Thank you so much!"

From day one, Jordan was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient. She took the time to understand Ellie’s unique personality and training needs, tailoring every session to set us up for success.

Jordan’s ability to connect with dogs (and their owners) is truly something special. She was kind yet firm, making the training process both effective and enjoyable. Ellie absolutely adored her, and the progress we saw in such a short time was incredible! From leash manners to obedience and confidence-building, Jordan made everything feel seamless.

Great review from Aimee... "Sit means sit is a great place to have your dog trained. I have heard people grumble about "shock collars". I felt the collars strength before placing it on my dog. He was my baby and I would never harm him. The trainers teach you that you are only to place the collar at the level it gets the dogs attention. It is not harmful. Also the collar is only on while supervised. Cameron worked with my guy Vito and he responded so well. By the end of training the collar wasn't even needed to get his attention. The voice commands were enough. Sadly Vito has passed but I would use sit means sit for my next pup."

Jordan has helped me with commands for Georgie which I utilize both in and out my house. I’m happy to also report Georgie is now off leash and he listens when I call him. Great review from Michael... "I had a wonderful experience with Sit Means Sit and very happy with the results achieved.

My golden retriever used to try to escape at every possible opportunity (his favorite game) and I never imaged I would be able to play fetch with him off leash in my yard!

He now listens to commands was SO well trained after Sit Means Sit, that he wouldn't play fetch--I'd throw a frisbee and he would watch it hit the ground and he'd sit down at my feet and wait. It wasn't hard to train him to "release" and start playing fetch.

The training has made my life so much easier, his life more enjoyable and safer and I only wish I'd done it sooner. Thank you!!"
