Great review from Alicia... "We adopted our girl about 9 months ago it has been constant work with her from the beginning. Unsure of the situation she came from, she was not house broken, took a little longer than my other two dogs did as puppies, but she was 8months and had prior living situations. We over came that and moved on to become territorial. She became aggressive towards my larger breed dog that progressively got worse, until we both ended up with scars separating a fight and our other dogs ear torn having to have surgery. I was at the point of giving up and trying to re home her. My dogs were no longer safe with her in the house. Unable to find anyone to take her, we worked hard with her to correct and change her ways. Still short of where we wanted to be we decided we needed to send her to training. The behavior at home had gotten better, but anyone who stops by to visit or walks by the home including animals.. the hair spikes and protection mode kicks in. When we spoke with Dave and he recommended 3 full days my response was “are you sure thats enough…” lol. I mean I thought we would have to work just to send her to school forever. It’s amazing the difference in 3 full one on one training days from the progression on a leash, watching her control herself around other people and animals, and focus on commands. Go, place, she is doing wonderful with. I believe with consistency on our part in what the trainers showed us, how to control her, and her how to focus and ignore. We might just have the girl we hoped for. She is loving, sweet, and a goof ball just always in the defensive mode. What a transition after each class there was. All staff were wonderful with her, and great to work with. We loved the daily videos as they worked with her also. If only we started from the day we got her. Even better she connected to Jordan, so when I said its school day want to go see your friend Jordan, she was at the door ready to go. Justin was amazing to work with as well, showed me ways to take control in which I had realized I was completely approaching the wrong way. Hands down great place, great people, and great training methods that truly work with STUBBORN pups. Thank you ALL at SIT MEANS SIT for helping us with our baby. Willow Mae thanks you too. :)"
