Great review from Colleen... "We recently completed the three week board and train for our bully, Mona. We were so pleased and had an excellent experience. The owner, Dave, completed the intake/consult. Dave was great at listening, understanding, and answering questions. He explained everything very well and I felt confident signing Mona up. Her trainer, Elly, was amazing. It is clear she loves what she does and her energy is impressive. She explained everything very well and made sure we understood what we needed to do to continue Mona's success. Mona was excited to go to "school" and was in love with Elly! That's the sign of a great place. We now have the tools we need to be more confident with her high energy. Another great aspect is the package includes lifetime group training classes and home or public place consult within 1 hr. We are hoping to utilize these before we move out of town. Thanks, Elly, Dave, and the rest of the Sit Means Sit Team :)"

Great review from Johanna... "We, are just getting started. It has only been a few sessions and already you can see the transition is working. Everyone, from owner to office, trainers….love what they do, and do it well. Even now I know that we came to the right place, especially my 5 month old puppy, only on her second lesson, she could hardly wait to get in the door, and wanted to greet everyone. What better than the puppy herself just letting you know how great it is! If you want the best, you have found it. Just set up an appointment and see for your self, you will not be disappointed."

Great review from Chris... "Elly campaigned vigorously for training our female Working Line GSD named Pixie (a VERY fitting name I must say for our high-spirited GSD). Pixie is a little shy of two years old and is quite reactive to other dogs and people. Elly met us for Pixie's first full day of training and Pixie would not stop barking and crying, which lasted throughout the whole time for our introduction and up until we left Pixie with Elly for the day of training. Literally, within an hour we received a video from Elly of Pixie loose-leash walking, healing and sitting in the presence of another dog without Pixie making a peep! We couldn't believe this was our same, crazy Pixie! Remarkable!!! All of our times with Elly and Sit Means Sit have been very positive, learning and rewarding experiences for both Pixie and us."

Great review from Victoria... "When we brought our new corgi puppy home, I knew we had to bring her to SMS. My 11 year old cockapoo went through the program years ago and also went through their therapy dog training program. Eowyn is the first puppy my husband and I are raising together and the first puppy I’ve cared for in a long time. When she came home we knew she was going to be a very smart dog, but around 16 weeks we started encountering some struggles with barking non-stop when she saw other dogs. At that point we finally got her scheduled to start her training program. She had two puppy lessons, three day trains and has been in groups since July 2025. I can’t say how much this program helped us to harness her crazy herding dog intelligence and energy and help her to become a well behaved dog we love to bring everywhere with us. Her barking at other dogs has improved significantly and she has really excelled in the group classes. Cam started with her first puppy lesson, then her second puppy lesson was with Jordan and her day trains were done with Jordan and Justin. We have also worked with Mckenzie in group classes. All of these trainers are absolutely wonderful people and we really enjoyed working with all of them during the process because each one of them had different tips, tricks and insight to offer us. Group classes are a highlight of our weeks and we love meeting other dog people who enjoy training their dogs and making them into better companions. I still have friendships with several people from when I went through the program 10 years ago with my first dog!! The trainers will meet you where you are at to work towards any goals you have for your dog, whether that is a companion on your couch or even working towards dog sports. The foundational obedience skills and behavioral management that Eo’s trainers helped us on have helped her to get into Barn Hunt classes and we just began trialing. She is only a 9 month old puppy and I am so proud of how far she has come at this point. If you are considering using SMS I cannot recommend them enough. They are well worth the investment and your dog’s world will be so much bigger if they are trained well!"
