Since our last post, our community has truly stepped up. Weโ€™ve had volunteers come in to care for these animals, generous supporters donate much-needed supplies for animals of all sizes, and ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ก๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐ก๐ž๐ฅ๐ฉ๐ž๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ฌ๐ž ๐ง๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ฅ๐ฒ $๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”,๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ ๐ข๐ง ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ง ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’ ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ!

A new volunteer even brought baked goods to share with our staff today.

We truly cannot thank you enough. But this is only the beginning of a long road, and these animals will need our community every step of the way.

150 SEIZED ANIMALS NEED YOUR HELP. โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน Thank you to everyone who has donated and reached out since we shared our last post. Your support has been incredible, and we're incredibly grateful!

But we're just getting started.

On the evening of Wednesday, August 12th, approximately 150 animals entered into our care following the largest single animal seizure in our organization's history. Every one of them is now depending on our team and our community for the care they deserve.

Our team is working around the clock to evaluate each animalโ€™s needs and provide critical care. As we respond to this unprecedented situation, community support is essential to help us continue this lifesaving work.

Here's how you can continue to help:

โ€ข Donate to provide medical care, medications, food, bedding, and specialized supplies for dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, reptiles, poultry, and more

โ€ข Adopt or foster an animal already available at Cincinnati Animal CARE to help create the space and resources needed for these animals. (Please note: the animals involved in this investigation are not currently available for adoption or foster at this time.)

We're excited to offer another way to help keep pets and people together in Hamilton Countyโ€“Community Vet Clinic Appointments! We will provide appointments for injured or ill community pets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 10 AMโ€“4 PM. Our veterinarian, Dr. Meyer, will see up to 11 pets per clinic day in 30-minute appointment slots.

If your pet needs medical attention for conditions such as suspected URIs or upper respiratory infections, ear/eye/skin issues, surface wounds, or any other NON-EMERGENCY conditions, please follow these steps:

Ranger has spent 194 days in the shelter. He came to us from a shelter in Florida back in December, and after all this time, he is still waiting for someone to choose him.

Ranger spent 56 days in a foster home and received ๐™๐„๐‘๐Ž ๐š๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ข๐ง๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ. ๐Ÿ˜”

But Ranger has SO much to offer. Heโ€™s an incredibly smart boy who knows his routine, knows sit and stay, and will even put his own Gentle Leader on! Heโ€™s a great walking buddy, loves his toys, and appears to be potty trained.

Bennett is ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐—ด๐—ด๐—น๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐˜€๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—น๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ. He is extremely shy and frightened, keeping his tail tucked and avoiding the kennel door. Kendra Scott went missing from her foster home back in April during a thunderstormโ€ฆ and today, she made her grand return during a tornado warning. ๐ŸŒฉ๏ธ๐ŸŒช๏ธ Apparently, dramatic weather is just her thing!

A HUGE thank you to the Clermont County Deputy who safely brought Kendra to us, even while we were under a tornado warning. Weโ€™re so grateful you made sure she got somewhere safe. โค๏ธ
