With kitten season in full swing, we're going through food and neonatal supplies faster than ever and need community support to help bridge the gap until our vendor is restocked!

From a cold, dark garage to a warm, loving home. โค๏ธ When Agathe arrived at Cincinnati Animal CARE in November 2025, she was found emaciated and confined to a small crate. Her past and future were uncertain, but our community showed up.

Thanks to a chain of compassionate day trippers, short-term fosters, and long-term fosters, Agathe got the love, care, and second chances she deserved. And now, the best ending of all, she's officially adopted by her final foster family! ๐Ÿพ

We are endlessly grateful to everyone who played a part in Agathe's journey. Stories like hers remind us that when a community comes together, incredible things happen.

We're so grateful when our community takes shelter dogs on day trips. Not only do they get a much-needed break from the shelter, but we learn so much about who they are outside of it. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿงก

Thanks to a recent day trip, we discovered that Goldfish is exactly what his name suggests: a dog who absolutely LOVES the water! ๐ŸŸ๐Ÿ’ฆ He spent the day splashing, soaking up attention, riding beautifully in the car, and charming everyone he met. Kids quickly became his favorite group of people!

We also learned that Goldfish appears potty trained, can entertain himself when needed, handles loud noises like a pro, and has the sweetest, most affectionate personality. He is the kind of dog who would thrive spending summer days poolside with his family.

Goldfish has been waiting for a home for two months, and shelter life is starting to take a toll on him. We'd love to see this sweet guy trade in his kennel for a backyard, a kiddie pool, and a family to call his own.

๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿพ WHO WANTS TO PARTY WITH FELIPE? ๐Ÿพ๐ŸŽ‰
Because Felipe is bringing everything to the celebration: a piรฑata, champagne, good looks, and impeccable manners.

This handsome 4-year-old is currently thriving in his foster home and proving that he's the total package. Felipe responds well to structure and has mastered an impressive list of commands, including "sit," "paw," "down," "stay," "leave it," "touch," and even "spin." Show-off? Maybe. Smart cookie? Absolutely.

While his foster is away at work, Felipe free roams the house like the responsible gentleman he is. No wild parties. No redecorating. Just naps and, presumably, dreams about snacks.

Felipe would prefer to be the star of the show as the only pet in the home, but if he really hits it off during a meet and greet, he may be able to share the spotlight with another dog. He would also do best in an adult-only home.

Now all this party boy needs is a forever family to celebrate with.

Sweet Georgina waited nearly five months for someone to choose her, and this week, that someone finally walked through our doors โค๏ธ

Jordan originally came in to meet a different dog, but after talking with our Behavior & Training team about her lifestyle and what she was looking for in a companion, she was matched with Georgina instead.

And sometimes the perfect dog isn't the one you came in for. It's the one you leave with. ๐Ÿถโœจ

As an extra surprise, Georgina also went home with a special adoption basket generously donated by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿพ

We are so incredibly happy for Georgina and her new family.
