Raffle time! Enter for a chance at free dog grooming! It’s the height of summer and we are celebrating at Daily Pet Lodge Grooming with a little fun raffle for a FREE dog grooming.

How does it work? It costs $10 to enter, the prize is $100 in free grooming services applicable to up to 2 visits within 6 month period. We also have 2nd and 3rd place prizes.

How can you enter?
Enter by paying $10 on cash app or Venmo, Linked below. Drawing will be held June 30th at 9AM. After you have paid entry, text your name, your pets name, phone number and email to (513)490-3400. You can also email info to [email protected]
All contestants will be written on paper and tossed into a hat to be drawn for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes.

1st place - $100 Worth of grooming services which covers most full groomings making it free!

2nd place- free nail clips for 2 months. $30-$50 value!

3rd place $5 nail clip and ear cleaning for 6 months! Savings of $30-$40 value!

PSA: I have seen and heard multiple reports that there is currently an outbreak of K9 distemper making its rounds in the Cincinnati area. Canine distemper is a contagious and serious disease caused by a virus that attacks the respiratory, gastrointestinal, and nervous systems of mainly puppies and dogs. However it can be passed to local wildlife and other animals.

While it is not always deadly and it is entirely possible to recover from Canine Distemper Disease. Recovery is usually dependent upon the strength of the dog's immune system and the strain of distemper they have contracted. It can take up to 2 months to fully recover.

To mitigate your pets risk of contracting distemper from other dogs or wildlife in your back yard it is important to make sure they are up to date in all immunization vaccines. If you are boarding your pet at a facility this summer vacation season it is imperative that you ask what the requirements there are for the public to board their pets. If they do not require vaccinations I would strongly advise as a boarding facility professional that you do not board in those facilities at this time.

We at Daily pet lodge have vaccination requirements for all pets boarded and in Daycare. We adhere to rigorous cleaning protocols, and sanitation measures to ensure we are limiting risk to its lowest levels possible. At this time we DO NOT have any cases to report from our clients or in our facility. In such an extreme case that we have a report of K9 distemper we will contact every client and make them aware as well as a mandatory policy to close down our facility for further sanitation for a period or 2-4 weeks.

We recommend vaccinations for every pet if they’re being boarded. At our facility specifically we do not accept dogs without current vaccinations. As a safety measure we cross reference every clients vet records with their vet offices to make positive our records match and are current. If you have questions about Daily pet lodge or our health and safety measures please feel free to contact us. we are happy to answer any questions pertaining to our facility.

We’re in the height of de-shed season. Have you had your furry best friend taken care of yet? Did you know? De-shedding aids in the natural shedding process. While it won't be able to remove all of the undercoat, we used the best product and process to remove as much as possible. Keeping your pet clean and healthy while giving your Dyson a break! It will help protect your pet from unexpected and painful mats, even avoid hidden hot spots! De-shedding helps prevent hot spots by drawing out natural oils released by a dog's skin and fur. River came In for his first full hair cut! He did mostly well to nearly perfect. Probably the best longer clip and scissor all around on a 1 year old puppy that I’ve done. His coat was a dream for people in this line of work. Brushed combed, just perf canvas to start on. He was an sweet boy and stayed mostly still. He’s going to be an exceptional listener, very intuitive. I wish I could have got his paws more rounded but we took what we could get with the paws. 😉

Your goldendoodle puppy should visit a professional groomer for the first time after her 16-week immunizations. Be sure to request a “first time visit” or “puppy clip and clean.” The groomer will bathe him/her, trim the hair out of him/her eyes, give a sanitary clip, and trim nails.

Meet Bronco🐾 Bronco is 1/4th Irish setter and 3/4ths Poodle. Doodle hair can be a daunting task at times, so he came by the Daily Pet Lodge today for a spring make over. He’s now ready for a pawfect summer and feeling like a million bucks! 🐾🐶💚
