We have had multiple cat adoptions in the last few weeks and each adoption has a great story to go along with it!
Diamond and Cole (mother and son) were at our store together for over 3 months. They got along fine, but Cole wanted a playmate and his mama didn't really wish to be his playmate. Then, Diamond got adopted by a newbie to the cat world (just a couple of years ago, she disliked cats and only fostered dogs. When her friend dragged her into our store after lunch one day, she met and fell in love with Diamond on the spot. She has since written us to say that Diamond is purrfect 😻).
Now Cole was alone, and feeling sorry for him, I got him a playmate named Flerkin. And what do you know, Cole finally found that perfect playmate that he had been longing for! The two of them hit it off immediately and were instant Bff's. Not long afterwards, they were adopted together by a family with an elderly dog. They are doing fantastic!
Finally, Andre came to us only last week and hid for most of that time. After searching for months for the perfect cat, Amber discovered Andre on Petfinder and came to meet him. She spent two hours getting to know him in our small bathroom and it was apparent that they were meant for each other. She said that Andre is the best boy and feels extremely lucky to have found him.
