2/10/25 Update- Just found out at 2am that Lupe has been ADOPTED!! I don't know who it was, but I'm being told that someone from Sarasota, FL drove to Cincinnati and adopted him today!! The person said he saw Lupe in a post and knew it was his dog. Lupe is going to be a surfer dude ππ . Thank you to everybody who expressed interest in and shared Lupe's story. In a matter of just a couple of days, he went from being one of the long-term residents at the shelter with a VERY uncertain future to being adopted and moving to FLORIDA! This is the most amazing news ever and I will update everyone with photos when I find out more.

Lupe has been at the Cincinnati Animal CARE shelter since July 2024 and he's starting to lose his sh*t from being there so long.
Here's what we know about Lupe:
β’ Crate-trained and no accidents in the home
β’ Highly motivated by ballsπ₯. Loves to play, chew, bathe with and chase.
β’ Lupe is a dream dog to bathe π. He loves the warm water and being scrubbed. He'd probably love to swim.
β’ Loves to relax & cuddle up with humans (and give kissesπ). He's very chill and relaxed at home.
β’ Loves to go hikingπ₯Ύ. We've taken him on many hikes and he's an excellent companion.
Here's what an ideal foster home would look like for Lupe:
β’ No cats
β’ Resident dog(s) should be non-alpha/tolerant
β’ Strong handler (Lupe is 70 lbs and very strong)
β’ College guys!! Lupe recently went on a day trip with some college guys and they all had a blast!
Due to concerns about his quality of life at the shelter, unless Lupe finds a temporary or permant home soon, he may not have much longer. So, we are begging everyone to please share Lupe, and please PLEASE speak up if you have room in your home and your heartπ.
