Our Story
Our story began in 2008 when I got Denali, my Samoyed puppy. After owning five dogs and going to obedience training with all of them , I thought I knew it all. This puppy seemed determined to prove me wrong. He did every bad puppy thing imaginable! I had to admit I couldn't control Denali's energy. After laughing at signs offering doggy daycare , I gave in and brought Denali to TailWaggers Doggy Daycare. To my surprise he actually passed the evaluation! The TailWaggers family worked with Denali on commands that I worked with at home. He romped and played with the dogs all day long! After a day at TailWaggers, I not only could enjoy my puppy, but I could also train him. At eight months old my crazy puppy passed his Good Citizenship training, the first step to become a therapy dog. While Denali fell in love with Tailwaggers Doggy Daycare, I fell in love with the staff who is always friendly and helpful. I always felt good about leaving Denali, not just for the day, but while I enjoyed my vacations traveling because he loved TailWaggers. In 2014 we moved to Cincinnati and my search for a doggy daycare for Denali began. I could not find a place that could compare to the clean, safe and fun environment that TailWaggers Doggy Daycare provided for Denali. I shared my frustration with Derrick, my partner. He thought I was being picky. Then he visited a TailWaggers location in Wisconsin. He met the staff, toured the facilities and watched the dogs play and interact. At that point he realized what we needed to do: open a TailWaggers Doggy Daycare in Cincinnati for Denali and his new friends! Today we are thrilled to have our own TailWaggers Doggy Daycare! We would like introduce Cincinnati to our family and can't wait for all the dogs to enjoy our Tailwaggers Doggy Daycare as much as we do.
