Dr. Smith will be appearing on Channel 12 WKRC at 6:45 a.m. on September 7th to talk about alternative approaches to help relieve arthritis pain in animals!

Today we were visited by RAPTOR, Inc. who brought us a 20 week old Bald Eagle. Since he is only a baby, he doesn't have his white head and tail yet. He's pretty large already for being just a baby though.

Yesterday we said goodbye to Dr. Hill's beloved dog Bella. She will certainly be missed by us all, but especially her sisters and Dr. Hill and his wife who loved her very much.

We see a variety of animals here at PetCare, like this guy right here. Goliath is a horned frog, but they are often referred to as Pacman frogs due to their round shape and large mouths. He's quite the old man at 10 years old and although he wasn't happy to see us, we were thrilled to have such a cool animal come to our facility!

Dr. Gary Smith has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 40 years and joined our team back in February. He loves to share his expansive knowledge with our staff and teaches us something new every day!

He is a big fan of ultrasounds and the added diagnostics they can give you. He also loves acupuncture, acupressure, alternate medicine, and laser therapy.

With Dr. Smith on board, we are now open more hours in Loveland for cats and dogs. You can schedule an appointment with him in our Loveland location Tuesdays from 9am to 4pm and Thursdays 11am to 4pm.

Do you celebrate your dog's birthday??

Holly (Yorkie) and Estella (mix) both turned 2 years old this month!

Holly belongs to Dr. T. She fell in love with her when she came in for her spay with Paws for Miles and just had to have her!

Estella was adopted at just 3 months old by our staff member Sara and has been a spoiled dog ever since!

K9 Onil NCHPD is resting up and getting his fluids after getting his spleen removed yesterday. He's already feeling much better and is excited to go home today! He was a very good boy for everything!

Do you get the morning newspaper and not know what to do with it afterwards? Bring it on down to PetCare where our birds Largo and Gigi would love to p**p on it! Largo, the Yellow Naped Amazon, and Gigi, the African Gray use newspaper at the bottom of their cages to make it easier to clean up their messes. And Gigi sure does love to make a mess!

Today starts our Toys for Tails donation event! If you have any new or like new toys or treats that your dog maybe didn't like, bring them down to either of our locations and drop them off in our donation box! We're at Blue Ash Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We are in our Loveland location Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Every Saturday we switch locations. This Saturday we will be in Loveland from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. All donations go to Paws for Miles and all their rescues in need.

HAPPY PAWLIDAYS FROM ALL THE STAFF AT PETCARE!!

This holiday season we are joining Paws for Miles and their Toys for Tails initiative. They are seeking donations of toys and treats to help make sure their furry friends are set up with their fosters and forever homes🥰. Any new or slightly used toys/supplies are greatly appreciated! We will have boxes in the lobby at our Blue Ash and Loveland offices starting 12/26! They are only asking for treats and toys, but leashes and collars are welcomed as well!

Pigs the season to do hoof trims! Sebastian comes in regularly to see Dr. Gladys for hoof and teeth trims. At 123lbs, he sure is a big deal!
