Who watched ESPN sports center today?

Bonus points…. Who caught the glimpse of the UK children’s hospital tank in the Levi Lucas segment?
Mitch has cared for that tank since its inception in 2016. A tank very close to our hearts for many reasons.
As Christmas Eve winds down I had the honor of excitedly texting the donor of that aquarium and saying “TURN ON ESPN NOW!!!!! You have to see the aquarium! On ESPN!!!”
So cool to see an Aquarium Artisans tank as the back drop on the national stage!
We see you Make a Wish foundation, Levi and UK dance blue hematology/oncology clinic!

Merry Christmas to all of you! Our holiday was made today knowing a child chose that spot to film his segment. I (Jenn, a mom my self) cried as we watched Levi ring the bell in that segment 💙💙💙💙

As our 4th Black Friday in the new store comes to a close this popped up in my memories.
Building a whole new store and hiding every last detail from the world was crazy. We closed Saturday night at Plainfield road and worked all night to open Sunday at Kemper. No one had seen it. No one knew the plans, the layout, the location or even the paint colors 😉
We abandoned our famous 6am sale that started in 2014 in 2020. The size and staffing of the store would have been impossible to deliver a good experience.
I’ll never forget when someone said to us the week before Thanksgiving 2014 “you should open at 6am with crazy discounts” (I see you Eric Clark! ). So we did. As we wondered “Will the people come?” Oh boy did they ever. And it grew and expanded and it was insane. It was THE event for many years. It just became too much for 5000 sq feet. TBH, I don’t miss being up at 4:30 am on Black Friday 😉🤣
Our black Friday’s continue to exceed our expectations year over year. Kudos to our staff that rocked it out with yet again record sales (HOW did y’all beat last year 😳😳)
We love and thank you all for your continued support.
