Furry Feature of the Week – Frankie!

Meet Frankie! She is a real head turner! With one polka dot ear and one brown ear and with one blue eye and one brown eye, Frankie is a very striking looking pup. Actually she is just adorable in every way.

Frankie is about 1 ½ years old and was found as a stray, all ready to feed her puppies, but sadly the puppies were never found.

She has a very sweet demeanor. She loves to hop up on the bench right next to you, enjoys getting rubbies and pets and then gently will give a kiss or two in return. And sure, she gets the zoomies sometimes but who doesn’t??

She has some doggie friends at the shelter and has a great time playing with them. Humans?? She’s never met one she doesn’t like! She’s a lover of the people!

Frankie is a very well-mannered, quiet, low-key type of gal. She would make a wonderful addition to any home and whoever ends up with this girl will truly hit the jackpot!

Furry Feature of the Week – Hurm!

Meet Hurm! If you have lots of attention to devote to Hurm, he will pay you back with undying devotion! He is a young, charming, brown tabby guy who is as sweet as they come! With his striking good looks and a loving personality to match, Hurm is sure to steal your heart. He was rescued from the streets, found wandering by a kind Samaritan. He thrives on focus, especially when it involves playing, cuddling, and lap time.

Hurm enjoys the company of other cats, but he does require a special prescription diet due to sterile cystitis, a condition in his urinary system. His condition has been well-managed with his diet, and as long as that stays constant, he's an excellent fit for a lively household that matches his playful and affectionate energy.

So, if you're willing to give this boy focus on his dietary needs, he will focus on keeping your heart full of love, fun, and affection! DOB: 7/2024

Furry Feature of the Week – Luke!

Meet Luke! Luke is our resilient 2-year-old English Coonhound! When he was first found, he was nothing but skin and bones, fighting to survive. His future seemed uncertain—but Luke had a heart full of resilience. With love, care, and plenty of good snacks, he gained not just weight but a whole new lease on life!

Today, Luke is the definition of a happy-go-lucky pup! He greets each person with a wagging tail and full body wiggle. He’s a total goofball and promises to provide his future family with lots of laughs and entertainment.

Luke is a playful boy with love for everyone he meets! He has lots of human and doggy friends at the shelter. He even has met some cat friends. Luke is a star student at doggy daycare and loves romping around with his pals. This guy is just Mr. Friendly and makes friends everywhere he goes!

Luke would love a family with another dog to play with or someone who would be willing to take him on some sniff-aris! After all—he is a hound so he loves to sniff!

Luke’s journey proves that even the darkest days can lead to the brightest futures—and he’s looking forward to meeting his future forever family! Could that be you?

Meet Bitsy! Bitsy is a lovely grey and white beauty of slight build, and she has a quiet wisdom in her eyes that tells a story of resilience and hope. If Bitsy could talk, she’d surely have tales of a challenging past, but thanks to the kindness of a compassionate colony feeder, her life has taken a turn for the better.

Bitsy was rescued and given much-needed dental care to ease her painful mouth. Now, free from discomfort, this sweet senior lady is ready to embrace an easy life of comfort and love.

Bitsy will thrive in a calm and serene environment, making her the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a peaceful home. She has a mature and gentle spirit that will steal your heart. Looking for another way to help the STAF animals? You To The Rescue is a donation-based upscale resale boutique and their mission is to contribute up to 70% of the money they raise through selling your donated clothing, accessories, and home goods. All proceeds benefit local no-kill animal shelters Save The Animals Foundation, Animal Adoption Foundation, and Stray Animal Adoption Program. 🐾

Her name is Amethyst since it is the birthstone for the month of February, and she was rescued from a site with eleven other cats/kittens, all placed in loving foster homes.

We celebrate the fact that we could offer Amethyst a wonderful home to deliver her precious five babies, always thanking all of our foster homes for their love and care. Although her babies were born just hours before this picture, it looks like Amethyst is already a doting mama of her dear family.

We are so happy that STAF could rescue Amethyst and her babies and that they will ultimately be fixed as soon as they are ready; they will most definitely then find loving homes as companion pets. STAF prioritizes and always advocates spay/neuter to reduce homelessness in our community.
