We typically wait about a month after a cat arrives before making them available for adoption - we want to ensure they're completely comfortable and adjusted to busy store life. Rogue has reached that milestone and is now ready to find her forever family!

💕This gorgeous 2-year-old tortoiseshell beauty is:
• The ultimate lap cat and cuddle companion
• LOVES snuggling and will happily spend all day in your arms
• Wonderful with children - gentle and affectionate

🐕💕 Look who stopped by our store yesterday! Everyone, meet Redding - a beautiful 5-year-old who visited our Pleasant Ridge store on an day trip outing from . Some volunteers brought her by, and I have to tell you, this girl made quite an impression on everyone! 🌟
In all my years taking shelter dogs on outings, I have never met such a well-behaved pup! Redding was:
✨ Incredibly well-mannered & calm
✨ So gentle & loving with everyone she met
✨ Enjoyed every treat with perfect manners
✨ So careful & sweet with her new squeaky toy
✨ Just an absolute sweetheart through and through
Can we talk about those gorgeous eyes?! This wonderful girl has been at the shelter for over a month, and yesterday was her very first outing. She's clearly been waiting for the right family to notice her.

We have had multiple cat adoptions in the last few weeks and each adoption has a great story to go along with it!
Diamond and Cole (mother and son) were at our store together for over 3 months. They got along fine, but Cole wanted a playmate and his mama didn't really wish to be his playmate. Then, Diamond got adopted by a newbie to the cat world (just a couple of years ago, she disliked cats and only fostered dogs. When her friend dragged her into our store after lunch one day, she met and fell in love with Diamond on the spot. She has since written us to say that Diamond is purrfect 😻).
Now Cole was alone, and feeling sorry for him, I got him a playmate named Flerkin. And what do you know, Cole finally found that perfect playmate that he had been longing for! The two of them hit it off immediately and were instant Bff's. Not long afterwards, they were adopted together by a family with an elderly dog. They are doing fantastic!
Finally, Andre came to us only last week and hid for most of that time. After searching for months for the perfect cat, Amber discovered Andre on Petfinder and came to meet him. She spent two hours getting to know him in our small bathroom and it was apparent that they were meant for each other. She said that Andre is the best boy and feels extremely lucky to have found him.

Come & Get your FREE Samples Today!! If you still haven't gotten a chance to drop by our store to pick up samples of dog & cat food, then today is just another perfect reason to stop by the Madeira Farmers Market.

Update- Diamond & Cole have been patiently waiting to be adopted at our Pleasant Ridge store for 3 months now. Everybody loves them, as they are both extremely friendly and engaging with customers. Yet nobody has made a move to adopt them.
If you missed my previous posts, here's a little bit of information about Diamond and Cole:
🐈Diamond: 2-3 y.o. Mother to Cole. Extremely affectionate, loves to be brushed, will be a great lap cat.
🐈‍⬛Cole: 1 1/2 y.o. Less affectionate than his mother, but extremely sweet and loves belly rubs. He would love a cat friend to play with.
Both cats are extremely sweet and LOW MAINTENANCE. They demand very little and don't get into any mischief whatsoever. Neither cat is a fan of dogs🐕, but Cole is somewhat interested in them and could probably coexist with a dog.
Diamond & Cole are not a bonded pair and do not need to be adopted together. They are both fixed, up-to-date on vaccines, and in perfect health.
Their adoption fee is $125 each.

"We switched our boys to ! Best decision. We have seen a decrease in allergies in our very itchy dog. Our puppy loves the bones we add to our delivery. Last week, Argos Pet Food & Supply donated 2,000 lbs of dog food to Cincinnati Animal CARE to support the 300 dogs currently in their care.
While this donation will likely last only about 1-2 weeks, we're proud to help provide nourishing meals for these pups as they wait for their forever homes.
