Weather changes are hard on donkeys. Make sure you have fresh water for them to drink and they are adequately drinking. If it's very cold, give a little tepid water that will encourage drinking. Also in cold weather you may have to increase their forage intake. Vitamins and minerals are very important but hay will help the body stay warm. Shelter with fresh bedding out of the wind and wet weather are important. Know your donkeys and if they seem off, contact your vet immediately. As always, if someone has a question, please reach out. Must love donkeys ❤️

Dusty is a hot mess in these pictures, combination lots of rain and mud. He is a sweet boy who is still looking for a home. Him and Peanut would make an awesome future gelding pair for a great home.

Peanut Brittle is doing well. Still a Peanut but growing good. He loves to run up to me for scratches
