I'm late posting...Patrick left for his new home last Saturday and is doing great! Thank you Aideen. Dusty and Peanut will be heading to the same home together to be therapy donkeys, thank you Brayhope Farm. Check them out and give them some support. My heart is happy knowing my babies are loved

Weaning going well for my oldest foals. I still have two little boys available. They could almost be twins, both are MDR registerable and will stay smaller, 30 inches or just over. Special consideration to good pet home taking both boys.

Dusty is a hot mess in these pictures, combination lots of rain and mud. He is a sweet boy who is still looking for a home. Him and Peanut would make an awesome future gelding pair for a great home.

Last Thursday night our last foal arrived. He had some issues and we needed our veterinarians help. This little guy is a trooper. He is so white and small. I kept calling him Peanut and the name stuck, welcome Peanut Brittle ❤️

Monday night the weather turned ugly, we received the tornado warning on our phone and had 10 minutes to prepare before it hit. As we took shelter in the basement with our dogs, stuff was flying all around outside. Our snowmobile trailer slammed into the side of our house. I worried how my donkeys were. As soon as it let up, Jeff went to check on them. My metal barn floor fan was thrown halfway down the barn floor. Shavings were all over the entire barn. It was a mess, but all donkeys were fine! Once we started checking pastures, we realized we had a lot of trees down on our fence line. I shut the connecting pasture gate and Jeff cut up the trees and branches. We still have to repair that fence. We are still without power but our generator allows us to care for all the donkeys. We are very thankful that it was not worse. There are parts of NY that have been hit very hard.

Tornado warnings all around us. Luckily severe storms have went north or south of us. All donkeys are inside where I can keep an eye on them. Stay safe everyone!

Beautiful peaceful morning but another hot day. To cut down on the fly population I have found cleaning stalls at least twice a day, cleaning pastures, cleaning water buckets and removing leftover hay, especially if soiled on, will help a lot. Plus it's healthier for the donkeys.
