What a wonderful Christmas gift. While feeding this morning we have found a new litter of 6 healthy and strong kits.

After raising rabbits for over 10 years I think this may be the first Christmas litter we’ve had.

Blessed and looking forward to 2025.

Both kids did a fantastic job raising these animals and getting them show ready.

It has been a great year for us at multiple different fairs. We plan on being at Piketon for the Ohio New Zealand Specialty show and competing at Springfield in the OMRPA meat pen show on Dec 27. Come see us!

A great way to finish off the Ohio fair season. Want to say a big congratulations to all of our Fairfield County exhibitors. We had quite a few class winners and seconds in class.

A special congratulations to Kate Johnson. She has been with us from the very beginning and has been a superior showman for us her entire 4-H career. Today she won Grand Champion Roasters. We couldn’t be more proud of the hard work and dedication she puts in to all of her rabbits.

Another item, a dear friend of both of ours has announced that this will be his final fair show. Glen Carr has mentored me when I first started getting in to rabbits and taking breeding to the next level. He has been a great resource for us and thousands of youth in his career. We will miss you, but wish you the very best in a well deserved retirement.

A huge congratulations to Max today! He had the Reserve Grand Champion and 4th overall meat pen at the Guernsey County Fair.

He also won both classes with his Dutch. His Dutch doe went 4th over all in breeding. What a wonderful day!

Our first litter at the new house looks promising! Hopefully we will have more like this late this month for the Mini Convention in Columbus.

As the Fairfield County Fair comes to a close, we would like to thank all the youth and parents that purchased rabbits from us. We are proud of all of you.

If you have pictures of the kids with their market rabbit projects please send them over and we will make a post highlighting them with their accomplishments.

Wanted to give a shout out to Max Wright from  Guernsey county. This is his first year in 4-H and he did a great job with his market rabbits. He won his class and got to participate in his first of hopefully many final drives.

Also, thanks to Glen Carr and Travis Burwell for getting him a very nice blue Dutch buck to take for breeding. He won best Dutch and was 4th over all in breeding bucks.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out all ready. We have 14 roasters and 12 fryers left for Fairfield county. Please message us if you are in need of rabbits.

Also if you need rabbits for another fair the roasters were born mid June. They may qualify for another late fair.

We were blessed enough to have to opportunity to sell some fryers to Pickaway County Fair youth! The kids did an excellent job with them and I believe everyone placed in their class with at least one or both of their rabbits!

Awesome start for the year! Hope to keep the ball rolling as Fairfield County Roasters are being born this week. 👍🏻
