We have some rabbits ready to head to a new barn!

1st a pre jr doe. This doe is built right and is out of one of our head bucks Kronos. Kronos has been racking up banners and ribbons for the last few years from us. The dam side is an absolute power house doe from Terry Grubbs Colossal.

This jr should make some fanastic meat pens.

2nd is a herd buck Vista. This one is bitter sweet for us because this buck has paved the way for a lot of genetics we have leaned on these last few years. Lots of great pens and stock has come from this buck.
He starting to show his age in the photos however I belive he’s got lots of solid breeding’s left in him!

Folks we have had a couple cancellations. Meaning we have a few sets of fryers left for Fairfield County.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Barbra Steward. She and her family have been customers of ours for a few years now. We heard at church this morning that she had passed away unexpectedly at a youth sporting event. Please keep her children and husband in your prayers throughout this difficult time.nt

A Stepp Above Rabbitry started fair season off right. A huge thank you to all who purchased rabbits from us for the Pickaway County Fair.

I’m sure this is not all placings but I did my best to follow along today and get them recorded. If I missed any let me know! Also reach out with photos and let us know how you did. I’ll change the post if needed.

A huge congratulations to Chase Thomas.
3rd over all! Out of 466 rabbits entered.

We were blessed to have 7 out of 29 class winners.

Also we had 13 of 29 seconds in class. Which is fantastic!

Also we had an abundance of placing rabbits from 3-10th in heats.

Hopefully we will be brining home plenty more banners this fair season.
