R***r got a shave job. He was so sweaty from all his Wy hair. Feels better now and Shay did an awesome job as I don’t think he has ever been shaved before. If anyone needs their horses shaved in the area let me know and I’ll give you her number

R***r and Wander get baths today. Tomorrow Shay (our friend and adopter) is coming to shave R***r , that Wy hair got him all hot and sweaty. Pistol and Slyboy are protesting that it’s not their turn. Lol

Trooper ( some of you will probably remember him) will be coming back. He was at another rescue in their sanctuary herd as they had quite a bit more property then us. He has been with them for 3 yrs but they informed me they were selling the property and shutting the rescue down and wondered if I wanted him back. Of course we do. I am not naming the rescue yet as I’m sure they will announce it when they are ready. He should be back here within a week. So I am going to post an Amazon wish list if anyone would like to help us . Our mailing address is 17465 NE 37th Ct. Citra , Fl 32113 The fly masks would be nice with 2 of them with ears as we have two that have sweet itch and it effects their ears. Three total horses here have sweet itch issues so fly spray morning and night is a key to keeping them comfortable. Only stuff we try not to use is fly spray with oil in it. Thank you in advance of anyone that helps out. I’ll post when Trooper gets here .

If anyone is wondering why we don’t blanket the horses it is because they regulate their own body temperature very well and they have shelter to get out of the weather. There are reasons we would blanket which include ; thin horses or shaved horses. If we had no way for them to get out of the weather. If we had a horse that was feeling sick. Thankfully all horses here and healthy and up to weight.

All the kidz here are eating hay like crazy and are doing great. I think the sheep like the weather but all of the rest including us could do without the cold 😂

Oh baby it is cold outside !!! All the animals are doing good. Horses got their warm mush breakfast and then turned out with plenty of hay. Goats/ sheep / piggies / chickens got their breakfast . Sorry I was freezing and ran back inside when done to get warm so no pics 😂

We have Dipper ( one of the un handled 5 mini's/ ponies we took in ) living his best life with Caitlin Daniels. Also Elvis that was the jack we got for $25 at the cattle auction. He was so scared he would just stand and shake at the thought of being touched. It took awhile to win his trust then get him gelded. He now lives a awesome life with Fredrick Webster and his own little herd of goats down south.
