Poor "Tom" kitty keeps getting haircuts from his neighbors that he sleeps next to at night. The guinea pigs seem to like eating cat hair. I'm not sure where to move either of them to, but at least he likes them enough to keep sleeping by them.

I meant to post this on Monday and the day just completely got away from me with everything I had to do before Lina came home and needed to deal with after she blew up our therapy season over an mp3 player being a reward for doing daily tasks.

Anyways...the conditioning pens are finished up and only have the watering system left to install. I have also decided that it would be more time efficient if I just put it in for the entire barn to provide water to all of the birds. I just have to figure out if I want to make it part of the spicket or the actual water supply to the loft.

Some of the chicks I believe are pullets, I separated them from the definite rooster growouts. They seemed to be getting dominated by the others, better safe than sorry.

Some of our growouts that im pretty sure most of them are roosters. I separated the ones I think are pullets into another pen and will probably move these as well at some point when I figure out which ones are staying.

So close to being done with this side of the barn. Hopefully, I'll have it finished by the end of the weekend.
Next year, I will be working towards finishing the other side and putting a large outdoor enclosure up for the peafowl to roam in.
Every day is a blessing we all have. I am grateful to have the opportunity and option to build towards the things that will aid my family in having peace and joy in life.

My crazy little helpers. Im over here trying to work on things and get them finished up while these two are under feet or playing in my work supplies.

Im not a cat person by any means and have slight allergies to them, but they sure are cute little monsters. And for whatever reason really like me even though I've tripped over and accidentally kicked them across the barn floor. I guess that makes me their momma from what my BFF Grace tells me. 🙄
