Being a part of this community is incredibly rewarding. Two months ago, on Memorial Day Weekend, our commitment came back to us tenfold. The Board of Sunrise Little League SLL watched our Heartware video about Miller’s health struggles and the inspiration behind our store. They were moved by the bravery of a 16 year old who’s already endured 16 surgeries. They invited Miller to throw out the first pitch at the Tournament Championship Game. They honored him with his own jersey and proved that we can lift each other up through community connection. As a store and gathering place we will continue to serve this community but as a mom I will be forever grateful to Sunrise Little League for giving Miller a chance to be a boy playing baseball. ⚾️
