Meet Jingle Bells 🎄🐾
Jingle Bells came from the Fresno shelter with her babies. A rescue took her puppies… and left her behind. She was placed on the euthanasia list for being “scared and unpredictable,” which could not have been further from the truth. She was simply terrified in the shelter environment — and we could not let her die without ever being given a chance.
We have no idea which rescue took her babies and left her behind, but what we do know is that Jingle Bells deserves the same love and safety they were given.
✨ Jingle Bells is ready for her next step ✨
We are urgently looking for a foster so we can get her to Sacramento to be spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and one step closer to the loving forever home she deserves.
About Jingle Bells:
• Good with dogs of all sizes
• Good with cats
• Has shown zero aggression while with us
• Very quiet, sweet, and gentle
• Loves food and treats
• Loves toys and rolling around in fresh blankets
• Allows handling and being picked up
• Comes when called
• Loves basking in the sun — and if it’s not sunny, she’s happy curled up on a dog bed
Potty training:
• P*e pad trained
• Now going potty outside with our other dogs
• No longer confined to a playpen — she is out and about daily and doing great
One thing to note:
Jingle Bells does not like to be bothered by other dogs while she is sleeping. Humans are perfectly fine. There was one instance where another dog accidentally stepped on her while she was asleep, and she growled loudly. Other than that, she has had no issues.
Jingle Bells has been through so much, and she has blossomed into the sweetest little soul. She is finally learning what safety feels like — and now she just needs a foster to help her take the next step.
🙏 If you can foster Jingle Bells or would like more information, please message us.
Let’s give this mama the happy ending she was almost denied.
