STOP the Sip! 🚫🌲

Keep your dog out of the Christmas tree water!

That seemingly innocent water can be a toxic cocktail of fertilizers, pesticides, sap, and bacteria, leading to vomiting, diarrhea, and a miserable holiday.

EASY FIXES:
✔️ Cover Up: Completely hide the tree stand with a tree skirt or a decorative baby gate/fence.
✔️ Deter: Use a pet-safe deterrent spray around the base (but test it first!).
✔️ Go Fake: Use an artificial tree to eliminate the water hazard entirely!

Frozen Pumpkin Pupsicles
Here's a pumpkin treat that your dog will love!

Equipment
Silicone mold of choice

Ingredients
½ cup 100% canned pumpkin with no added sugar, salt or spices
½ cup Unsweetened, plain yogurt or regular or Greek yogurt
¼ cup Blueberries (optional)

Directions
In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin, yogurt and blueberries. Stir the mixture until it’s smooth and well combined.

Use a spoon or spatula to fill your molds with the mixture. Tap the mold gently to remove any air bubbles.

Place the molds in the freezer and let them freeze for at least 4 hours, or until completely solid.

ABOUT PUMPKIN PUREE 🧡
Make sure you use 100% pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling, which contains added sugars and spices that can be harmful to dogs.

ABOUT XYLITOL - 🍬
Always check the labels for xylitol- a sugar alcohol commonly used as a sugar substitute, that is highly toxic to dogs.
