Yesterday Victor and I stopped by the Suncoast Primate Sanctuary to donate a metal food storage cabinet and help with some of the storm clean up. We are so happy to be able to gift supplies to other animal sanctuaries and rescue groups 😊 Was great to see Susan Ford still in action helping animals as a volunteer at the center and check out this amazing artwork created by Pongo the orangutan 🦧 💕

And just like that it’s gone..so many crazy and emotional memories, working in the Windsong Memorial Hospital. We were so blessed to have so many wonderful supporters who made it possible to have a state of the art hospital onsite. The Xray is in transit to continue helping the BCR cats as well as TCWR cats and many more to come. Several other wonderful organizations have also been gifted hospital supplies and equipment. Nothing will go to waste 💪🏼

Our Xray unit is being packaged up and shipped to Turpentine today. This equipment donation will ensure our cats receive the same quality care they always have. Bittersweet to see it go. The hospital was one of my proudest accomplishments. In preparation we moved the generator this morning with the bobcat. Speaking of bobcats check out these tracks I found this morning 😻

Check out the cute tail twitch of this jaguar drinking from a water trough 😍 reminds me of a certain bobcat with a never still tail, Summer.

These troughs are provided by the Ocelot Working Group as part of a project our friend Carlos (who we met in Ecuador) is working on. The troughs give animals an alternative water source so they leave the water pans under bee boxes alone. The water pans under the bee boxes keep the ants out of the honey.

Who knew how much goes into the infrastructure of harvesting wild honey 😮

Check out these awesome camera traps we are gifting to the small cat conservationists in Ecuador 🤩 They blend in so well!

I have been using one for a couple weeks now and they really are a great camera, the video quality is exceptional.

If you are able to, any donation in any amount will help us to provide this important tool to so many deserving projects.

Going through the tool sheds for our estate sale at the sanctuary this weekend and found this blast from the past 😮

Our original donation box which used to hang on the fence in the parking lot. Guests just put in whatever amount and got a tour of the sanctuary.

On another note if you are in need of housewares, furniture, yard tools, camera equipment, vehicles or massive amounts of Halloween decorations we will be hosting a sale this Saturday 9am - 4pm at the Modglin intern house. Message me for the address 😃 (it’s not our front or rear sanctuary address)
