We have an announcement! The Clackamas Dogs Foundation is becoming the Clackamas County Dog Services Charitable Fund, which is a new fund created by Clackamas County. The Clackamas Dogs Foundation Board approved a change that will maximize the impact of your generous donations. The mission remains the same and programs currently supported by the Foundation, like the Emergency Vet Fund, the shelter food and enrichment fund and the Reunite me fund all remain keystone programs supported. Your donations are also still tax deductible.
The main reason for the change is to reduce administrative costs and use more of the donations to directly serve the dogs in the shelter.
The current Foundation website and online donation portal will soon redirect to a Clackamas County website. Please visit https://www.clackamas.us/dogs and look for more info there soon!
We provide shelter, stray care, adoptions, and lost and found services for dogs. We reunite owners with lost dogs and match adoptable dogs with good homes. Is your home a good match for one of our dogs?
