☃️ Season’s Greetings & Happy Howl-idays, Everyone!

It seems impossible that we’re already here to greet the end of 2025! What a rollercoaster of a year it's been!

🎉 This season marks 3 amazing years of pampering pups here in Clare! From all of us at Paws-A-While, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your trust, support, and enthusiasm have helped us grow and make a positive impact in the lives of so many furry friends (and their owners!) across Central Michigan.

🎄 A Quick Holiday Reminder
The holiday rush is officially here, and the salon has been busy!
👉 We are fully booked through Christmas.
👉 We are currently scheduling mid-January appointments.
👉 Weather permitting, we will be open EVERY DAY in the lead up to Christmas!

As always, pet parents may request to be added to our cancellation list, though availability cannot be guaranteed -- especially for clients not on a regular maintenance schedule!

⚠️ Cancellation Policy Reminder
To protect time and resources for all our clients:
• Same-day cancellations or no-shows incur a $25 fee
• Cancellations made with 24+ hours’ notice incur no fee

📌 Please note: We provide reminders as a courtesy, but clients are responsible for remembering their appointments, regardless of reminder status. Forgotten appointments are considered no-shows and are subject to the same $25 fee.

We understand that emergencies happen! Please reach out anytime, and we’ll always do our best to help!

📣 New Schedule Starting in January

To continue providing top-tier service (and to support a healthier work-life balance for our team), our hours are changing:

🕘 New Hours:
Wednesday – Saturday
10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

🐾 Drop-Off Windows:
• 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
🥪 We will be unavailable and the shop will be closed to customers daily from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. for lunch.

Why the change?
• We anticipate more structured drop-off blocks = shorter appointment times + smoother scheduling
• It gives a true rest day for our team = more energy, creativity, and long-term sustainability
• Better capacity for private 1-on-1 grooming sessions
• Allows us to accommodate evening schedules for clients

We currently get the joy of seeing 50+ dogs each week for pampering with our small team, and we're committed to providing continued top-quality care into the new year for all of them!

We’re confident this change will help us continue delivering and improve the premium grooming experience your pets deserve!

Hey everyone! Just a heads up—we are CLOSED today, Saturday 6/28, and officially on our mid-year break from 6/28 through 7/9. During this time, we’ll be unavailable for in-person appointments, but calls and messages will be returned by Tuesday!

We honored our $5 nail trim event in-store yesterday, but if you missed it—don’t worry! We’ll be at Jay's Sporting Goods for another Pet-i-cure Sunday, 6/29 from 12pm to 3pm, offering the same $5 nail trim deal (normally $10)! 👥 New Client Policy Update
We are currently closed to new clients and can only accept new bookings by referral from a current client. Referrals must come from a client we've seen within the past six months and can verify.
