📢 🐈 💐 Easter and Mother's Day are around the corner, and if you're celebrating with lilies, it's incredibly important to know that most varieties are extremely toxic to cats.

It only takes the ingestion of a small amount of lily pollen or a sip of the water the flowers are sitting in to send a cat into acute kidney failure and you rushing to the emergency vet.

Educate yourself dog owners:)

Spring is here! And with that comes a warning about Leptospirosis, a disease caused by infection with Leptospira bacteria.

All dogs are at risk of leptospirosis, regardless of age, breed, lifestyle, geographic location, time of year, and other factors. The following situations can increase that risk:

➡Exposure to or drinking from slow-moving or stagnant water sources, like ponds, rivers, lakes, or streams
➡ Roaming on rural properties (because of exposure to potentially infected wildlife or farm animals or urine-contaminated water sources)
➡ Exposure to wild animals (especially rodents) or farm animals, even if in the backyard
➡ Contact with other dogs (such as in urban areas, dog parks, or boarding or training facilities)

Oh how I love the feeling at the start of a dog training session when dogs eyes are leary with suspicion becauae mom and dad have beem telling them all week this lady is coming to see you and work with you two.
Confused 🤔 because mom and dad call her “our trainer.”
But, mom and dad we already have an in home trainer. We train you and dad daily and we do a good job. You still feed us and give us anything we want, mostly.
Skip the trainer mom and dad and cook our breakfast pawlease, and don’t use paper plates this time. Hahaha 😂 💕👑 🐩🐶 click on each photo to see comments I’ve made below about each dog.

DISCOUNT for dog owners! Let’s start 2025 with having a happy, better behaved and fulfilled dog.
Since there was such a huge response during the last two discounted in home dog behavioral training sessions I ran, I can clearly see there is a need for me to run this discount for one more month. This will give more time for me to see more people who are interested and in need and for those who wanted to get help with their dog but were to busy before the holidays. So as of today, I’ll be doing the 2.5-3 hour in home dog training sessions at a discounted rate for another month if you live within 40 miles of Clare.

When strangers touch our dogs without consent, it can be unsettling for them—much like an unexpected touch feels to us. Dogs deserve respect and agency over their bodies. Politely guiding others to wait for the dog’s signals, like approaching willingly or leaning in, helps ensure interactions are safe and comfortable.
