Listen up dog owners, this is for you! It's September and I have a lot of openings for in-home dog behavioral and obedience training sessions. I work with all dogs of all ages, from puppies to senior dogs. The holidays will be here before you know it, so it's time we start practicing with our dogs the behavior we want. It takes time and practice to begin new behaviors and break bad ones. Let me help you accomplish the goals you have for you and your dog. With that being said, as of today, September 10, 2025, I'll be doing two-hour in-home dog sessions at a $40 discount rate off the standard fee for two months until November 10, 2025. This fee applies if you're within 35 miles of Clare and on a first-come, first-book basis. There are only so many spots available, so if you're interested, let's get your session booked and on the calendar so your spot is held. Now, if you live further than that, the fee would be based on driving distance. I'll travel as far as 60 miles to help an owner in need. My goal is to help as many of you as possible before the holiday season approaches, that's why I'm offering a $40 discount on all sessions until November 10, 2025. Special note to my past clients: if you have time and could be so kind to share this post and maybe say a few words about your experience working with me and your dog, I would be very grateful. In the past, I've found that when a past client makes just a short testimonial, it gives another dog owner the courage to reach out for some guidance. By sharing this post, you can help me reach more dog owners in need. Thank you for anyone who took the time to read this, share it, or make a comment.

📢 🐈 💐 Easter and Mother's Day are around the corner, and if you're celebrating with lilies, it's incredibly important to know that most varieties are extremely toxic to cats.

It only takes the ingestion of a small amount of lily pollen or a sip of the water the flowers are sitting in to send a cat into acute kidney failure and you rushing to the emergency vet.

Learn which lilies to avoid and how to recognize signs of exposure in your cat. https://www.preventivevet.com/pets/lily-toxicity-to-cats-and-dogs

Spring is here! And with that comes a warning about Leptospirosis, a disease caused by infection with Leptospira bacteria.

All dogs are at risk of leptospirosis, regardless of age, breed, lifestyle, geographic location, time of year, and other factors. The following situations can increase that risk:

➡Exposure to or drinking from slow-moving or stagnant water sources, like ponds, rivers, lakes, or streams
➡ Roaming on rural properties (because of exposure to potentially infected wildlife or farm animals or urine-contaminated water sources)
➡ Exposure to wild animals (especially rodents) or farm animals, even if in the backyard
➡ Contact with other dogs (such as in urban areas, dog parks, or boarding or training facilities)

Oh how I love the feeling at the start of a dog training session when dogs eyes are leary with suspicion becauae mom and dad have beem telling them all week this lady is coming to see you and work with you two.
Confused 🤔 because mom and dad call her “our trainer.”
But, mom and dad we already have an in home trainer. We train you and dad daily and we do a good job. You still feed us and give us anything we want, mostly.
Skip the trainer mom and dad and cook our breakfast pawlease, and don’t use paper plates this time. Hahaha 😂 💕👑 🐩🐶 click on each photo to see comments I’ve made below about each dog.
