A little bit of what's happening at Champion Manor this week. We're thrilled to have Ashley Loeb back home from California, and we're grateful for the delicious meals prepared by Daniel Hall and Mike. Spring cleaning is underway, thanks to the efforts of Margaret and Drake Smith, and we're happy to have Halee Hunt back to work. We're blessed to have a huge village of hard workers dedicated to getting barn chores done and making Champion Manor successful. Thank you to each of you who continue to do the work, Steph SmithKelly, Leo Jones-Morton, Erin Lioret, LaDarla Sanders Lioret, Melody Holt Laws, Tracie Laws, Autumn Smith, Pat Satterwhite, Marion Arnold, Drema Greer, Faye Joplin, Ashlie Rose Medlin, and Sarah Stokes. Trever Medlin and Trey Medlin picked up hay today, and Drake Smith and his girls unloaded hay and grain today. All of our horses are cozy in their clean blankets for tonight's cold weather, with full bellies and fresh shavings.
It was a productive day at Champion Manor. The veterinarian administered shots and conducted coggins tests, the farrier tended to the horses' feet, and all the horses enjoyed a day at recess
When the grind gets real and then something wild comes out of nowhere, you just gotta roll with it and have a laugh!
Interacting with the horses at Champion Manor is always an adventure. Like young children, their moods and behaviors can be unpredictable, making each encounter unique. Tonight, Finn proved to be particularly stubborn when it came to choosing his pajamas, refusing to cooperate. Despite the challenges, the horses were eventually dressed, fed a snack, and settled in for the night.
It's such a joy to see Lucy having so much fun with her new friend! It's amazing how quickly they come together. We can't wait to see this big guy blossom at Champion Manor, with all he has to offer!
Some of our favorites. Horses and people.
My Big Boy getting it done on a chilly day. Never disappoints.
Gina thought she left the wheel barrow past Callie's stall, while she ran to the restroom. Too bad the real surprise wasn't on video when she came back and saw this sweet innocent girl enjoying her all you can eat buffet!
Today was a special day. Welcome home Ashley Loeb, she came all the way from Cali this morning to see Callie today! Continued prayers for you Ashley and your big future endeavors that you're embarking on! We couldn't be more proud of this successful lady, and her accomplishments. More pics to come....
Here at Champion Manor we start them young. We love it when this little guy shows up and does barn chores and takes care of his responsibility with his pony! We're so proud of you Jaxon, and Lu-Lu loves you taking care of her! #timeisathief #letthembelittle #memoriesinthemaking
