Started the morning out with this call
Poor young Raccoon got his head stuck good.
also had a car hit his back legs.
Had rehaber help get jar off and check this guy out.
We were able to release him back where he came from.
Lets hope he keeps his heads out of jars.
Please remember to not litter to help prevent situations like these

We have been through a lot of Rescues some heart breaking, others rewarding.
Our work seems never ending at times.
We share many laughs and many tears.

Emaciated kitten was found in someones back yard this morning in Newport NH.
She was not doing good so they brought her her to get help.
We put her in an Incubator to help warm her up.
we removed fleas, and cleaned her up
Her body temp is now normal so we are giving her small amounts of Kmr.
I will try her with kitten pate kmr mixed like pudding soon small amounts through out evening/night
Right now she is drinking some water with pedilite mixed in
send her Pawsitive thoughts ❤

In Loving Memory of Daisy

Today, we lost a beautiful soul, Daisy. Though our GSDR team never had the chance to meet her personally, Daisy touched our hearts deeply. Her life was tragically cut short after she slipped her collar at a local Petco and bolted through the automatic doors.

Daisy's adventure took her across busy Route 28 in Salem, where many kind-hearted people tried to help, but her fear drove her to keep running. Our team worked tirelessly alongside her family, setting up traps and feeding stations, hoping to bring her home safely. Despite a few sightings and her family's efforts to catch a glimpse of her, Daisy remained elusive.

Last week, Daisy was spotted running along Routes 213 and 93. Early yesterday morning, she was seen again on Route 213. At 2:30 AM, she headed off the on-ramp of Route 93, somehow making her way back onto Route 93 South. Tragically, Daisy was struck by a car near the river bridge, close to the Dracut exit.

We are grateful to Heather for reporting what she believed to be Daisy. Without her report, we might not have had the closure we now have. Our heartfelt thanks also go to Renee Falardeau, the Animal Control Officer from Methuen, and Salem Animal Control Officer Bjarna O'Brien for their invaluable help over the past few days. We appreciate everyone who called in with sightings and shared our posts about Daisy.

Daisy, we are deeply sorry that we couldn't save you, but we take solace in knowing that you were loved. Our thoughts are with her family during this difficult time.

Rest in Peace, Daisy Girl. You will never be forgotten.

Reunited 7/25/2024! Sampson has been found and reunited following a sighting on someone’s trail camera. He is being checked out at the vet’s. Welcome home, Sampson!

Urgent Missing Senior in Lempster NH – “Sampson” is a male Plott Hound, brown brindle with grey on face, 14 years, 60 pounds. He is wearing a collar with tags, and is microchipped and tattooed. Sampson is friendly. He is deaf and does not get around well due to having bad hips. Area residents – please check under porches and decks, in sheds and barns, in drainage ditches, etc in case Sampson has gotten himself stuck. Please share his flier.
