We are a Non profit 501-3c We help lost and found animals to be reunited with owners. We also help and take in abandoned/surrendered animals and help them find their new forever homes. We also help wild life that have been injured by getting them to a Rehabilatator

Please note: Although we are not contracted in all towns to assist with Dogs/puppies, there is a constant need in our communities.

Our priority is taking care of the animals and we will do what we can to help them whether by reuniting with their families or finding wonderful forever homes.

Once Again… Two Dogs Abandoned and Left to Fend for Themselves
We wish this wasn’t becoming a familiar story—but here we are again. Two dogs—abandoned in the rural town of Cornish, NH—left to survive on their own.
These poor souls were so severely matted that their eyes were covered, their bodies weighed down by filthy, heavy mats. Their feet were encased in thick, dirty fur, yet somehow, they still walked—afraid, unsure, desperate for help but too scared to approach the people trying so hard to save them. They unfortunately needed to be trapped and thankfully before todays heavy rains.
At first, we couldn’t even recognize their breed. Only after careful observation did we realize they are likely doodles, one male and one female. Are they mother and son? Brother and sister? We don’t know their names, or their ages.
Why? Why were they left behind to fend for themselves, covered in mats, frightened and alone?
This story repeats itself—across our state, across many breeds. People don’t think this happens here in New Hampshire—but it does, and it breaks our hearts every time.
Thankfully, these two are now SAFE with Cathy Sullivan at Lost My Way Animal Shelter. But their story shouldn’t end here. Someone, somewhere, knows exactly where they came from.
We are thankful that their heavy mats were removed today for their 1st initial grooming and were named Clover(yellow Collar) and Patrick (red collar)
Together, let’s stand up for them. Let’s be their voice. These animals love us unconditionally.

Today our vet visit was possitive as she has made some progress.
she has virdigo, and her ear is sensitive with a good bump above eye with fluid. we have medicine to give her to help with ear and nauseousness meds.
We go back next Thursday
lets hope she keeps making progress and she has no siezures

She rested comfortably last night and no seizures so I was able to take catherter out this am.
Ive been intoducing soft food to her but no intrest so ive been syringe feeding her to get food and water into her.
She is taking both very well.
a couple hours ago I got her to eat a small amount on her own so im leaving dish on the side close to her.
Poor girl needs her quite space and time to heal.
Thank you to all that donated!
She still needs all our love and Prayers
She is on pain meds and we will be keeping a close eye on her night and day.

Update:
We are headed to Stonecliff for follow up this morning.
She is more alert and has been eating a bit on her own.
I got her to purr this morning.
she is still has standing issues

We had a call on a hit cat found late last night on 2nd NH turnpike. A very nice person was kind enough to stop and help her and get her into warmth.
We picked her up and took her straight to Stone cliff in Lebanon. we will be picking up later today and will be able to post pics than.
She has a head injury a (cut behind ear.)
She is being observed for the afternoon their and will come home with a port in case of a siezure, which she has not had this far.
We will take back tomorrow to have the port removed in morning.
We try to cover all the Emergencies we can but with vet cost the way they are we would appreciate any donation that could be made for this poor cat. Thank you

This is a very long shot but my cat Cage is lost in Cornish NH. He may be trying to come home to Townshend VT. If he decides to find a new place to live on his own I assume he’ll pick a barn/farm as that’s where he’s comfortable. He’s a big solid neutered male (over 15lbs) with a nick in one ear & a “skin tag” that feels like a huge tick on the left side of his neck. He drools when he purrs and is 8-9 years old. He’s all black but looks dark brown in the sun.

Harper just needs a chance to be loved! She is a great companion dog, She just dont like other dogs in her bubble. Walks on leash, just dont let other dogs smell her as she feels threatened. fenced in yard is best. She knows her commands and than some. She loves to cuddle UPDATE ADOPTED

Harper is looking for a home with no other dog, fenced in area we recommend. She is 31/2yrs old super friendly to people, kids. unfortunately reactive to dogs getting personal and in her close space. great on walks on leash. Not a dog park dog! loves long walks Loves her frizbee and toys

We also do Animal control in surrounding Towns, helping with welfare checks, police calls and surrenders. Lost My Way Is Dedicated to improving the quality of life for animals
