🎄🐾 Time to Head Home! 🐾🎄

Hi, friends! Today is my last day at the clinic—it’s time for me to head back to the North Pole and help Santa prepare for Christmas!

Before I go, I want to celebrate something truly magical: the amazing animals who found their forever homes during my time here. Seeing so many wagging tails and happy purrs has filled my little elf heart with joy! Thank you to everyone who opened their hearts and homes to these special friends. You’ve made their holiday season brighter than ever!

Though I’ll miss all the fun and furry faces here, I’ll be thinking of you as I help Santa spread the magic of the season. Keep being kind, keep loving, and keep giving second chances to animals in need.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a season filled with joy, love, and happy tails!

Looks like Pip has taken on a new role as a dog walker — or should we say dog rider? 😆

Here he is, taking our sweet senior girl Alexis for a stroll, even though she might not be quite as speedy as the younger pups! Alexis was one of our older shelter residents and she’s showing Pip how it's done… with plenty of grace and patience! 🐕✨

While Pip might be having a bit of fun, we want to remind everyone that senior pets like Alexis are just as loving and deserving of a forever home. If you’re considering adoption, don’t forget to think about our older furry friends — they’ve still got lots of love to give! 💖

Looks like Pip is trying to crack the code of this puzzle feeder… but instead of kibble, he’s using peppermint candies! 😆 While he’s having fun, we want to highlight how puzzle feeders are purr-fect for enriching the lives of our shelter animals!

Looks like Pip found a new way to clean up this holiday season — floating in our ultrasonic cleaner! 😆 But don’t worry, he’s just taking a quick dip while we explain how this machine really works!

In our surgical clinic, the ultrasonic cleaner is used to sterilize surgical instruments. The high-frequency sound waves create tiny bubbles that help remove dirt, debris, and bacteria from even the smallest crevices of our tools. 🧑‍⚕️💉 It’s a vital part of maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety during surgeries.

And just so you know, the water in the cleaner was properly changed and sterilized after Pip’s “dip” — he’s all clean and ready for the holiday fun! 🎅✨

Thanks to this technology, we can ensure the best care for all our furry patients. If your pet is in need of surgery or a check-up, we’ve got the cleanest and safest environment possible to make sure they’re well taken care of!

Last week, critical parts were stolen from our transport box truck—the same truck that has been essential to our mission. This year alone, it has transported animals for over 3,500 life-saving spay and neuter surgeries, traveling across our community and surrounding counties like Watauga, Iredell, Cleveland, and more.

This truck is vital to reducing pet overpopulation and providing much-needed care to animals in need. Without it, we cannot continue this critical work. We urgently need your support to replace the stolen parts and get it back on the road.

Silly, us! Our page is not old enough to go live! We recruited some kitties to help us choose a Father’s Day winner. Congratulations to Gina Burgess Hamm for winning our raffle. We hope Bob & Frankie enjoy the goodies! 💙🐾 You can pick up your basket at our shelter anytime from 10-4 Monday through Friday. It is located at 3224 20th Ave SE, Hickory NC, 28602.
