Registered Veterinary Technicians are educated and degreed. They are nationally tested and require yearly continuing education. Their training includes dentistry, wellness, anesthesiology, radiology, nutrition, medicine, surgery, counseling, and more. One minute they are drawing your pet’s blood, and the next cleaning up their vomit. They do anything and everything, and are skilled in it all. They make our lives as veterinarians as well as your pet’s lives so much better. When you see our amazing, caring veterinary nurses, give them a thank you. They may save your pet’s life one day. 🥰 (Jesse & Katelyn)

This kitty was found with a rubber band twisted around its tail. This was so sad. Dr. Brady fixed him up, but to think of the pain until he was found😢

Botfly season! Cuterebra eggs are inhaled, swallowed, or enter the eyes or ears of rodents returning to their burrows (or dogs and cats sniffing around). Once inside their host, the eggs hatch and the larvae burrows though muscle and tissue to form a burrow with a round “breathing hole” in the animals skin.
