Ok folks, for those of you who don’t know, my wife has had ACL knee surgery repair, and that has affected what I had planned on getting done in July. I will have 4 mounts left to finish after Alex’s buck, and will have all completed this month; I have taken in 1 more shoulder mount so far, and will take in up to 5 more shoulder mounts before bow season starts, this is your heads up if you are waiting on me to have a spot for your deer, with the acknowledgment that I will be taking 1 month off before starting any new mounts after completing the current mounts I have in process now. As always, thanks for your patience, it helps me provide the quality I expect on the very mount I do.

Tres Helms fine 10pt before and after remounting. Old form/techniques vs newer form/new techniques.
This mount requires a fresh cape and form, but very do-able on any old mount!

Next up to be mounted is Tres Helms very nice mainframe 10, but 13 total points. This is a remount of Tres’ very first buck he killed (if I got the story straight). It was mounted years ago with some old techniques, and old style form. I’m honored to be the one to update this buck with a fresh cape provided by Trace, and I’ll have before and after pics later after I get him mounted.
If any of you have a similar buck that was great at the time, but now looks like crap compared to newer bucks you have had mounted, I can fix it! And believe me, I’m not knocking on any taxidermist, cause Lord knows my first mounts that I did, and thought were great at the time, are kinda embarrassing now, lol!
