Just another day at work for Dr. Makayla Threde!

A 2025 graduate of Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine, she and her husband are originally from California but moved to the Gulf Coast of Mississippi before arriving at AMC. She enjoys small and large animal medicine and has strong interests in herd health and preventive medicine. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Threde loves to spend time with her husband, their daughter, and their two dogs. Her hobbies include horseback riding, scuba diving, baking, paddleboarding, and anything involving the lake. Dr. Threde can’t wait to meet you and your pets!

It's always an adventure here at Animal Medical Center!

The boa constrictor, also known as the common boa, is a species of large, non-venomous, heavy-bodied snake that is frequently kept and bred in captivity. A staple of private collections and public displays, its color pattern is highly variable yet distinctive.

We had an incredibly wonderful time at the Animal Medical Center Christmas party! We ate some great food, opened raffle prizes and just overall enjoyed each others company for the holidays. What an amazing team!

Shout out to Bricktown Brewery for being so accommodating and helpful, truly making us feel at home for the holidays.
