Hi everyone! We want to pass along advice from our vet- please keep your pets indoors during the eclipse. While they usually instinctively will not look at the Sun, it will get dark quickly and may cause animals to behave differently. Some sources do suggest covering your windows. Stay safe and enjoy the eclipse today!

Due to the high number of inquiries we have received about cat grooming, we have decided to dedicate 1 day a month to cats only (will increase cat-only days if need be)! This little sweetie pie Shih Tzu named Sheila is looking for a new home! She is a puppy mill rescue, and she is 6 years old. Hi everyone! Please lend us an ear on this- we are taking some proactive measures with the Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease Complex going around. Thankfully, there are no cases in New York yet, and we want to take a proactive role on keeping it at bay. If your pup has been outside of New York State within 10 days of their grooming appointment, we ask that you do not bring your dog in for grooming. Also, as always, if your pet is exhibiting signs of illness, we need you to reschedule. We also ask that you pick up your pet after the grooming session is completed as promptly as possible, and we of course will give you the notice you need that they are ready. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. We all want what’s best for our furry friends. 🐾

If your little buddy exhibits these symptoms during their visit, we'll give you a ring to bring them home and connect with your vet ASAP!
