PLEASE save this sweet 13 year old Standardbred gelding from shipping to slaughter.
He was bred as a sulky-pulling racehorse. When he could no longer produce the "wins" the owners were hoping for, he was dumped at an auction and purchased as an Amish cart horse.
When their new owner purchased younger, stronger horses he was dumped at another auction pen and will now be shipped to slaughter unless he is "bailed" from the kill buyer.
We need to pick him up right away to prevent him from shipping. He needs a bail fee of $975, transport and veterinary care.
You are his lifeline.
