We are just about a week away from the Iowa Hand Corn Husking event!

Did you know we have classes from Little Shuckers (Ages 1-5) to Golden Agers (75+)? We even have a 4-H & FFA Division for teams of three to compete for a traveling trophy!

All of the pickers are paired with a teamster and horses to collect the corn that they pick during their allotted time! If you are a seasoned picker, or have never seen/participated in this event before we would love to have you come and experience the day with us! Call Jeff with any questions you have!

It takes a village they say and ours grew by one this year! Beckett spent the day napping ringside while Papa Jeff showed Saige and Sierra! Kaysen, as always, was an excellent help learning all about the horses.

The girls did well yesterday placing in several classes at the Iowa State Fair Farm Team Show!

This weekend we have the honor of helping our dear friend Dennis Dostal and Double D Rodeo in Toledo, Iowa. It’s a standing tradition that Denny drives his team and stage coach through the grand entry at his rodeo. This past week, Denny had a stroke and is unable to drive his team. He called and asked if we could drive his stage coach, of course we said yes.

We wish him a quick, smooth recovery to good health!
