The saying ”try walking in someone’s else’s shoes” came to mind today. My two younger kids and I stepped into some of Jordan’s “shoes” while he was gone with puppies at the vet and the older two boys at basketball camp. I gained more appreciation and understanding of all the care and work Jordan and Jon put in to caring for these bulldogs mamas, papas and pups and thought I would give you all a glimpse behind the scenes. We want the best for our people and dogs which means lots of cleaning to maintain good hygiene and health, making sure pups are getting milk in their first days, making sure mama is healthy and strong, had time outside and so much more. Lol! But it’s all worth it when we see our dogs loved and pups in their forever homes with people like you!

Okay, the count is in. This has been a very interesting first try at a 'sour mug' face contest. We have learned a few things...and it's pretty funny how things turned out.
First of all, Jane sent pictures to Liz to post. Jane sent four pictures, but forgot to tell Liz to pick between the two of the same puppy. Liz only saw three pictures on her phone, so posted them as candidates for the sour mug favorite. She posted them. Jane looked later and said...."ummm". We decided to leave the post as it was. We've got to give credit to Haley Kunde who may not have been the first to notice, but was the first to say anything. Like...it looks like B and C are the same pup. Bingo. Different lighting, different pose. Same pup.
Now the interesting thing is....B and C are the same pup. B and C got 22 votes each.
Puppy A got 42 votes. So, on one hand, the winner IS....drum roll....A.
But, if you want to get technical...the other puppy, who was both B and C got two more points when you combine them.

Happy Fathers Day to some of the best!! Murray, Knox and Chaz. Murray is a proud dad and holds his head up high! Knox is the fun dad and felt this picture taking was a bit obnoxious and Chaz was too cool for school that he had to wear his tie sideways. 😊. These are our awesome studs. Earlier this spring, the annual Beautiful Bulldog contest was held as at the Drake Relays. We have enjoyed attending this event over the years. Getting to meet former Stimson Bulldogs all grown up, as well as all the other awesome bullies is a lot of fun.

We did not make it this year, but were happy to receive updates from a couple Stimson Bulldogs that participated. Malu and Pumpkin were there and they both looked wonderful. On top of that, Pumpkin was named THE Beautiful Bulldog. Way to go Pumpkin and Malu!

It’s always nap or feeding time in a bulldog’s world. 😊. Like the typical bulldog reputation these guys are fulfilling their duty of laying around, eating and sleeping. But nothing better to do on a hot day with AC. We make sure it’s staying nice and cool for these pups. Our Story

We have been loving English Bulldogs for 32 years. We are constantly working to provide families with healthy, happy, good looking English Bulldog puppies with good personalities. We have enjoyed meeting many families who have given Stimson bulldog pups great homes. We are a mom and pop business located in the wide open spaces of our farm here in southwest Iowa. Our sons grew up with the bullies, and now our third son and his family have joined in on the fun here at Stimson Bulldogs. So there are now two more little Stimson boys running around. And now, a little girl, too! Jon is sharing his wealth of experience with son Jordan and our goal is to continue to provide families near and far with the joy of bringing a bulldog into their lives. We are available to the families after one of our bullies go home with them. A perk of getting a pup at Stimson Bulldogs is that our experience comes with our puppies.
