Quarter Circle 4R Ranch Horses

We ranch and do everything by horse back. We enjoy riding and training ranch horses to make great all around horses suitable for the whole family.

We ride and train ranch and trail horses. We run cattle with a neighboring rancher on 10,000+ acres of BLM, State and privet land where our horses get used to check, gather and docotor the cattle. Our horses see many long days and lots of country from the mountains to the valley and accross the river. Our horses also get used for rodeos, play days, hunting, packing, dude strings and mounted shooti

ng. We try and build the best well rounded horse that stay broke no matter what our customers are looking for. We will do our absoulute best to match the right horse with the right customer.

🔷 Utah is one sweet guy. He meets you at the gate, puts his head into the halter and is always happy to go for a ride. He loves people and attention, is loves to be groomed. He is in-your-pocket gentle but has nice ground manors. He is good looking, well balanced with a pretty head and a big soft eye. He has excellent bone and foot wearing a size 4 shoe. He is 16 hands tall with good muscling but sleeker built making him very comfortable to ride. He know his leads, lopes out of his tracks slow and easy with a rocking chair lope. He has a very smooth, floating trot, a nice correct stop on the hind end and he has a good pivot. Utah has been rode all over the ranch and in the mountains checking and gathering cattle. He has seen some very rough and rocky terrain, is sure footed and pays attention to where he is going and goes where he is asked. He goes through the obstacle course with ease, not spooking and has never offered to buck. He will ride both English and Western and would be super fancy in either discipline of dressage. He stays broke with time off, no warm up needed. He will load in and back out of the trailer, hauls well. Utah is good for the vet and farrier. He is up to date on worming vaccinations and dental, age verification. He come with his records and has had a basic health exam done. PPEs are welcome and we will haul to any vet in Park County Wyoming for free. We also welcome you to come to the ranch and meet Utah.

He currently stands 12 hands tall and should mature between 12.2 and 13 hands. Cowboy is one good looking pony. He is very well made. He has a super cute head, clean neck, round hip and good bone structure. He is kind that is hard to come by with his conformation and flashy color. He has been started both under saddle and driving. He has been worked through the obstacle course, sacked out and trail rode outside. If you have a young cowboy or cowgirl looking for a good project to turn into something fancy Cowboy is the one for you. He has tons of potential to go far and has a good start in the right direction.

Matt is a gorgeous gelding that is well broke, topped off with that pretty buttermilk buckskin color. He has great conformation, well made with good bone and solid feet. He is a solid ranch horse who also rides well in the arena where he picks up his leads, lopes out of his tracks soft and easy, stops well and moves nicely off leg pressure. Matt has been trail rode many miles in the mountains. He is sure footed and willing to go anywhere you ask. He has also seen miles on the ranch and done all aspects of ranch work, branding, pasture roping, checking, gathering and moving cattle. He has been rode through the creeks, down the trail, in the valley and in town. Matt has been there and done that. He is easy to catch, very friendly and in-your-pocket but has tons of manners. He is good in a box stall or turned out in a mixed herd. He stands well for the farrier and is good for the vet. He comes up to date on worming, vaccinations, farrier and dental. He will have complete vet records, current health. Matt has had a basic health exam and we welcome you to do your own PPE. We will haul to any local vet in Park, County Wy. We are glad to help arrange shipping anywhere and we welcome you to come to the ranch and meet Matt.

Sweetie is just that, super sweet, easy going and laid back. She is 14.2 hands tall, 1100lbs with a size 2 shoe. She has excellent bone and a good foot. Sweetie is more whoa than go and is perfect for the beginner rider. She is one we put our guests on and is great for the dude string but she will ride around nicely for a more experienced rider. She knows her leads, lopes nice circles and has a good stop. She goes through all the trail obstacles with ease. Out on the trial she is happy to ride out alone. She goes where she is pointed and pays attention to where she places her feet. Our kids have rode her all over the ranch checking herd and moving cattle. Sweetie is easy to catch, good for the farrier and vet. She is up to date on worming, vaccinations, farrier and dental. Comes with complete health and dental records, age verification by vet and has had a basic health exam done. 🌹𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗘 is just a sweet as they come and good looking too. She is out of a Spotted Draft/QH mare and sired by a large gypsy stud. She should mature around 15 hands and will be thick made with excellent bone structure. She currently has an 0 sized hoof. She has been handled correctly from foaling, is very polite and respectful with lots of correct ground work. She will go over all the trail obstacles in hand, she has been sacked out and knows her round pen basics. She has been ponied out around the ranch across the creeks and through the rough terrain. She pays attention to where she is going and know where she is putting her feet. She will load in and back out of the trailer, hauls well. She isn’t bothered by wildlife, pigs, peacocks, dogs, yacks or any of the other odd critters we have around here. Rose is friendly and easy to catch. She is the right kind that when she is ready, she should be super easy to get going under saddle and will make someone that draft X of a lifetime they have always wanted. She is up to date on worming & vaccinations. She has a current Coggins, and we will have all paperwork in order for her to travel. Sugar is a super sweet mare with the nicest personality. Sugar is a very well made mare with a cute head and neck short back with a big round hip. She has lots of bone and muscle to do an all-day ranch job. Sugar has a fantastic handle soft in the bridle and ribs rides off your seat and legs and has a one handed neck rein. Sugar is easy to ride in all gaits she’s as smooth are butter. Sugar loves to trail ride but has all the buttons of a reiner and rate like a ranch rider. Sugar crosses all trail obstacles with easy, Logs, bridges, tarps and water. Sugar goes where you ask her too. Sugar has been used all around the ranch to gather, sort and ship. Sugar gets along with other horses and donkeys and shares her pen with the kune kune pigs and all kinds of poultry. She is very sweet and kind, easy to catch with nice ground manners. MASTER LITTLE LADY – 2019 AQHA Sorrel Mare x Master Spook x Smart Spook out of Smart Shiners Lady x Smart Shiner.

Wow, Wow take a look at Lady! She is the whole package. Gorgeous conformation with a cute head, thick made, excellent bone structure and feet. She is a shiny cherry sorrel with 4 white socks and star. Not only is she good looking but she is broke, broke, broke. We get so many compliments on her everywhere she goes. She has an excellent mind, is gentle, kind and stays broke with time off. We have owned her for over a year and have done everything with her. She has done all aspects of ranch work in every season and in all weather. Rain, snow, wind, mud, rough and rocky terrain, she is sure footed and solid. From the spring branding to the summer pastures doctoring cattle to the fall gathering and sorting to the winter pastures. The kids have taken her swimming on hot summer days. She has carried flags and stood solid in the center of areas for grand entries. Lady has been rode in parades and taken to playdays. She is well patterned in both the barrels and poles. Lady brings home constant checks in both. She is constantly running in the 2D and has potential to be in the 1D. She doesn’t get hot or hyper and has no gate issues. She is also well started in the mounted shooting and is ready to go haul. She is not bothered by the gunfire and has tons of rate and handle through the patterns. Lady has seen many miles in the mountains gathering and checking cattle. She is not bothered by the wildlife, birds flying up all around her or any of the domestic animals such as pigs, peacocks or yacks. She goes where she is pointed and is a no hassle ride anywhere where you go, through thick brush, cross creeks or just down the trail. In the arena she lopes good circles, has a nice stop and spin. She is soft in the bridle, moves off your legs, side passes and rides bridle-less too. She gets along well in a mixed herd including donkeys, mules and ponies. She is very easy to catch, out on 100 acre pasture you can walk right up to her and swing on her ba****ck and ride back to the barn. Lady is super sweet and kind. She is in-your-pocket but has tons of ground manors and is very polite. She is happy to ride in any position in a group or she will ride off alone. Lady is an excellent all around ranch/trail horse. She also excels in the arena so if you want to take her to town and show her she would be great. She is Ranching Heritage Eligible. Lady is good for the vet and the farrier. She loads in and backs out of the trailer, hauls well. No vices or bad habits. She is up to date on worming, vaccinations and farrier. Lady comes with complete dental, farrier and vet records.
